Important Ski-Doo announces DELAYS in 2023 Delivery...

So did the 2022's come with a tether? Just no DESS?

Does that mean you have no "key" to lose? That seems like a great scenario to me. Not sure I would get it fixed. I'm always thinking about that DESS key flying off the end of my tether. I rode with a guy a couple years ago that used to put his tether around his wrist and one day he dismounted and stuffed his hand into the snow on side hill. His DESS key remained under the snow. We tore that hill up for hours looking for the thing and never found it.

I realize I can take my sled to the dealer and get another key programmed but that's a PITA (and $$).

Or just don’t be cheap and get two when you take delivery and keep the second key when you sell the sled.

Anyone who does ride with a second spare key is crazy! 50 bucks saved to ruin a sled trip?? Wow.

I’d be very surprised if the 2022 sled get the DESS at all. I’m pretty sure the chip is in the ECM.
