ski-doo 163 vs 162 m8

I am not a Ski Don't guy, but my buddy has a '10 xp 800 163, and it runs really good. Outclimbed my 1000 by a little repeatedly. Now with my '10 M8 163, I can edge him out on the point and shoots. He has been riding a lot longer than me and is a dang good rider, so the sled definately does the talking. Handling wise, the ski doos are an accuired taste. I don't like them, but its all in what you like. He can make his go anywhere he wants, but I will take my m8 over his all day long.

An aquired taste...What a great way of putting it. I hopped off of the borrowed 08 M8 I was riding the other day on to an 07 Rev 151 that was set up extremely well. I rode down the hill into the meadow and gave it a jerk and a counter steer, only to be flopped back to level instantly. It took me a minute to figure it out, but the when I started climbing, it was a little easier to manage. It looks really funny with the skis so close to your feet. The guy that owns this sled weighs about 130lbs and is close to 60. He loves it. I guess it comes down to what you are willing to try. Coors or Bud. I will take a PBR and limp my Polaris down the trail and we will see which one blows first. :cheer2:
