Silvertip's Playground (Highway 80/20/89/49)

Mr. Smasher Smashington Strikes Again

Nope, that wasn't us, but now I am curious.

Are you sure? Maybe Smasher peeled away from the group when we weren't looking. Ya never know, he keeps a very low, (& sneaky) profile when sidehilling for miles across the mountain.

You bringing some of your Iron this weekend Matty? I bet that 1200 loves those big chutes.

yeah if I can keep up with the pros! maybe ill just let jesse or AO pilot it. as for the big chutes, after seeing those ti tube turbo yammis at fairview in the back country filming I should have just kept it on the trailer!

I would love to meet up with the crowd since I dont get up to that area much and would love to go with the guys that really know the area.

2 tracks and trees at bottom allowing NO room for error. There were 2 chutes over in that area that fit this description but one is do or wreck.

Pretty sure that was Clint on his OVS turbo'd M1000. He pulled a chute on Saturday that was do or die @ White Rock. Never had tracks in it before....that I know of.

Ya that's the one, I climbed it first and then brian came up behind me on his turbo d7, tree's at the bottom made it a little interesting would'nt really want to come back down and have to squeeze through all the tree's. Anthony if you really want to know where it's at, I guess we need to go ride together sometime. ha ha Anyway's i think i'm probably going to come with Berger this weekend and watch you guy's get crazy, kinda looking forward to it.

Yeah, I'd like to see it. Jason said you are coming this weekend, about time we got together. I hate to say it, but we are going to have a TON of people, like maybe 30!!! Hope we find some untracked chutes like Phatty was saying. If not, we can climb them anyways:)

you can come up here and ride. hastings and i will be riding untracked for the next two weeks. lol i love the new snow we are getting.

never satisfied, we met a castle couple of weeks back at the end of the day. Had the m1000 with Tony, jeff and the guys. might be there this weekend, been lookin into your turbo would like to check it out a little more!

here's the thing with letting you guy's check out my sled, if you ride it, I gauruntee your gonna want one which is the first problem, after you come up with roughly $20k the second problem is all my favorite chutes are going to be torn to s**t and there won't be any lines left for poor me. trust me you don't want a turbo there way to fast, climb way to high and your always sitting at the top waiting for everybody, doesn't that sound horrible. anyways if you still think you might want one i would be happy to give you the low down and tell you what i know. see ya out there

Friday

A.O Just got home call me tomorrow with the time and locations of day 1 & 2. The Nytro is dialed and ribs feel good. Save some :beer; for the top, (If I make it);)

coming up tonight....AO...i'm planning to leave fresno around 4 or 5pm. i'll call you. i'm just going to come to your place.

a safe estimate on head count for the central cali team summit crew would be 20. way too big but probably our last big ride all together so what-the-heck.

see you guys up there tomorrow.
