Was trying to lighten up the hood and found it, thanks! Man the hood is heavy

Fired it up finally, 22.5 afr, need to finish the primary tomarrow. Read some more and bottom it up

The afr needs to be calibrated. There's instructions with the gauge on this process but it will read max with momentarily bounces to min while riding until you calibrate it.

I'm on my phone n fat fingered the neg rating trying to hit quick reply...is there a way to undo?
 
I really like how you mounted the gauges. I may redo mine to be like that actually.
I have to ask also: what happened to you consol that it is all hacked up?
 
Contact madsigntest on here he can make you a custom on that will fit your gauge and your 2, 2" guages. Maybe Madsigntist

A hacksaw happened to the counsel!! Haha
wanted a nice flat spot for the box. Just riveted on a piece of flat there and cover up the gaps with some black caulk

How are guys doing the recoil ours bends that holder right away! anyone have pics of how they did it, maybee we did it wrong? Thanks everyone we got it all together now!

I wouldent turn the oil pump up it dosent really use that much more fuel then stock and it makes it run ritch and smoke just my 2cents

How do I determine where zero is on the boost knob? Turn counterclockwise till it stops for zero boost, or clockwise till it stops for zero? I'm at work thinking about it. Probably would tell me if I looked at the knob?
 
Josh, I dont think it can go to zero. I am sure even if you change to the low pressure spring I would think its going to take some boost before the spring allows psi to bypass.
 
The boost controller is just a control valve, and is all relative to the wastegate spring. if you have a 3 psi wastegate spring, the bottom of the boost controller is 3 lbs. If you have an 8 lbs spring the bottom is 8 lbs.

I am just wondering where to start adjusting it? Do you just make pulls and watch the boost gauge till you get it where you need it?
I wanted to have it set at eight to start with but without it running wot I don't know where that is?

pretty much, I believe the spring that comes in it is somewhere between 7 and 8, but make a pull, turn the nob from there.

Is the other spring in the kit lighter or heavier?

Silber on a switchback

Just wondering who has installed this kit on a 2012 switcback...I have most of the kit installed but am have issues the the steering linkage. if i try to istall the spacer like the instructions say it hits the frame. My steering bar is different than the one posted in the instructions..I'll get a pic when I go back out..
