Who is going to Fairview next weekend (April 2nd)? Ia m sure I will be there with Alzy and Johnnyquestutah. I am sure there will be a few others with us that are not on the forum (losers). Most likely go up friday after work and stay in the trailer. Cook up some breakfast and such. then go ride. I have been there for the last 4-5 years in a row and still haven't seen a race. The snow has been to good to go sit and watch people go up and down a hill all day !

Have fun....

1st year in 5 i wont make it :face-icon-small-sad. X2, I don't even know where race hill is :noidea: Even in bad weather we have always had a killer ride. We usually like to stay till Sunday after everyone is gone and enjoy all the fresh snow we always get the day and night before all to ourselves :face-icon-small-coo

THANKS for this post! Have wanted to go just to check it out for awhile now and just seem to always miss it for one reason or another. This may be my year. Have to see if I can round up a Nevada contingent! (or just go solo like I always do):face-icon-small-coo

I would like to take my boy, just don't know the area well enough to ride without a guide.

If you have bluebird skies you dont need a guide. Just head south and bowl hop. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say we will have great weather this year for the first time in several.

Check that, 70 in the valley by next Friday.....spring is here

Keep your fingers crossed for big storms through thursday and then sunny skies on Fri - Sun.............ya, I'll keep dreaming.

I could probably find it but being in a wheelchair I don't want to take a chance on either him or me getting stuck and not have help.

Ill have to see how she is after this wknd. One more race at the hill climbs in Jackson and his season is finished.

Looks like if the weather is good, the SoCal guys will be going up there on thursday.
if bad weather then the 12 new feet since last week with another 5 projected for thehis weekend in mammoth add up to over 50 feet and is almost unridable.

The snow keeps falling making freshies all day long!

12+ Feet in the Last Week!

No need to pinch yourself, you haven't died and gone to heaven. It really is snowing some of the most epic storms of the season! Mammoth received another foot to foot and half of fresh just today! The snow isn't stopping anytime soon and multiple feet are expected through Sunday night! If you are too excited to do math, Mammoth received 5-8 feet last weekend and now another 3 to 4.5 feet of snow in the last 2 days. This makes 8 feet at the base lodges and over 12 feet near the top in just the last week!

All this incredible snow means the season isn't ending anytime soon and there's no better place to be than Mammoth for spring skiing and boarding! With the MVP passes going on sale April 1 you can take advantage of our spring (and summer) skiing starting May 1. For more details go to mvp.mammothmountain.com or call 800.MAMMOTH!

See you on the slopes!

My buddy lives in mammoth and called me this am to rub it in! He is riding Fri, Sat, Sun, AND Mon!! He said it is not typical spring snow but is light and fluffy!! I'm spool jealous!!!!

Rix,
I'm still planning on it. You got any room more room in your condo on wheels?

Not 100% sure weather or not I am going up friday or early saturday morning. But yeah, I am sure there is plenty o floor space to throw a pad and a bag !

Would be cool to get 3 boys together for the ride, let me know. Mine is 10 and he goes about anywhere I can on his 570.
