Shooting at Fort Hood

AS, I know you're a veteran, and I'll respect you till I die, but not all veterans or current members of the military think the way you do. At least the ones I know don't.

good statement, and also very true.

As far as I can see you are the only one who has posted to kill anyone. Do you have a problem with those people or are you a typical liberal, when you cant win the argument attack the opponent. Swampy:beer;
Don't worry about it. I am just glad that god is on "OUR" side.

If Ruffy and MHA are so unhappy, why don't they move to Yemen? Please move so both of you could become suicide bombers. Never trust a Muslim!

Unhappy? Aren't you one of the guys that complains all the time? I like it here, if you don't though, you are more then welcome to try and complain about somewhere else.

All that sh-- will go out window once your shot at or worse shot!! As O-B states you cant trust em. The'v been fighting for over a 1000 years and we are going to stop in a few short years. naa won't happen' Just never trust em I Known'
my point is, I know quite a few soldiers who have fought in Iraq and/or afghanistan. They've been shot at, they've seen their brothers fall, and yet they aren't like some of you guys, they don't hate all Muslims, or anything like that.

Again ruffy avoids validating his post and attacks the religious beliefs of those who challenge his statements, do you ever prove the validity of your statements/ As for god on our side 1. I had no idea you even believed in god. It is true God was on our side when this country was formed but with the liberal, baby killing, property stealing marxist coalition who have taken over the media and the government he is removing his protection from us as is predicted in revelations, you liberals may appear to be winning but you are all in for a dreadfull enlightenment and fall. Enjoy your gloat while you can, the day of reconing is not far away. Swampy:eek:

On a lighter side while trying to uncover the world truth about these suicide bombers and iislamic terrorists actions I came across a very deep analysis of the situation!!Swampy:D:beer;

Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide . . Let's see now..
No Jesus
No Christmas
No television
No cheerleaders
No Nude Women
No car races
No football
No baseball
No golf
No tailgate parties
No Wal Mart
No pork BBQ
No hot dogs
No burgers
No chocolate chip cookies
No lobster
No nachos
No Beer nuts
No Beer !!!!!!!!
Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he's sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower.
More than one wife.
You can't shave.
Your wives can't shave.
You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
. But your donkey has a better disposition.
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!

I mean, really, is there a mystery here?

Again ruffy avoids validating his post and attacks the religious beliefs of those who challenge his statements, do you ever prove the validity of your statements.

The point was to go further with my post and see if anyone was in agreement. People were. It was a means of finding out how far people think in this belief, how extreme.

Did you honestly believe my post to be my point of view? Have you not read any of my other posts?

Lets get back to how Great & Peace Loving the Muslims are

November 12, 2009
Muslims Bombing Muslims
Muslims (Saudis) are shelling and bombing Muslims (Yemenis) and we are not getting hourly photos of the civilian casualties!

It seems like the same old sad story from the Middle East. The side with the powerful military apparatus shelling and bombing the far lesser equipped rebel fighters! The wealthy side putting up a fence between themselves and where the poor struggle to survive! A constant drumbeat of reports and heart wrenching pictures of the growing and tragic civilians casualties....oh wait! There's a divergence from the normal template so skip that last item.

In this case the rich nation doing the shelling and bombing and building the fence is Saudi Arabia. The poor side of the fence would be Yemen, and the rebels are insurgents in the Yemeni civil war that have moved into Saudi territory. According to AP, 175,000 have been displaced, and rebels are claiming the Saudis are randomly bombing, including residential areas.

Reuters reported:

Saudi warplanes and artillery were reported in action for a third day on Friday in the border area of Jabal Dukhan, which means "mountain of smoke", in efforts to dislodge Yemeni rebels accused of infiltrating across the undemarcated frontier. The official Saudi Press Agency said operations would go on until Saudi territory was ‘cleansed of any hostile element'.

AFP reported:

Saudi Arabia said on Tuesday it will keep up air strikes against Yemeni rebels until they pull back from its borders...'We are not going to stop the bombing until the Huthis retreat tens of kilometres (miles) inside their border,' Deputy Defence Minister Prince Khaled bin Sultan said...He appeared to confirm reports by Shiite Zaidi rebels that Saudi warplanes continued to pummel them inside Yemen, a week after a rebel raid into Saudi territory sparked air and ground bombardment of their positions...Earlier the rebels, also known as Huthis after their leader, said a Saudi air strike on a Yemeni village near the border killed two women and wounded a child.

The rebels said two women were killed and a child wounded! That's it? Let's not beat around the bush. How prominent a news story would this be if it were Israel shelling and bombing rebels with claims of women and children killed in those strikes? Would there be numerous photos of the women's funeral and videos of the child in the hospital and barely restrained (if at all) condemnation of the ‘powerful' side?

Someone relying on media reports alone could come to the stunning conclusion that the Saudi air and artillery forces must be the world's pre-eminent surgical strikers, especially as compared to U.S. and Israeli IDF forces. The constant media meme is that the U.S. and Israel kill civilians routinely out of either a cavalier attitude towards such deaths or worse, an intent to terrorize the civilian populations.

We might also want to inquire of the Saudis how they provide the much needed counseling to their artillerymen and pilots who must be suffering from the debilitating trauma that results from having fought against and even killed their fellow Muslims! No doubt the Saudis are our superiors in that field also.

I don't think anyone is lumping every muslim into the radical group but the leadership of islam needs to take a definate stand on political as opposed to religious islam.

Bottom line............Everyone's opinions about any particular subject come directly from their own experiences with that particular subject. Not everyone has the same experiences so therefore not everyone has the same opinions about a particular subject. Where people go wrong is in choosing who to believe about something. A smart person would tend to believe a person who has had direct experiences with whatever subject is being discussed but that doesn't happen too often. That is what makes forums entertaining I guess.

Luvtoride, I wasn't really going to comment to you because you are obviously very young and don't understand but I would like to point out something you might want to consider when you see my comments about keeping all Muslims out of this country.

You say you know some soldiers who have been shot at in Iraq and have seen their buddies fall. I can guarantee I have seen more combat in one hour than all your buddies combined times ten. My unit alone lost more men killed than every death in the entire Iraq conflict. Google up Hill 875 at Dak To and read about it. That was my unit in Vietnam. Over 2500 men were killed on that mountain in one week.

Like I said on the other post, a person's opinions are formed by their experiences. Your friends who are soldiers who think some Muslims can be trusted are very naive and inexperienced.

Hang in there, you might learn something. :beer;

I have told everyone ever since the first gulf war that before this is all over we will have to stomp even Saudi Arabia. I don't care what you say, none of these people are our friends and never will be. For the the life of me I can not understand why we buy all our oil over there when we can get it right at home.

Dang AS Thanks for serving & posting!

I have a friend that was shot while on his first tour in Iraq back in 05, He has done 2 more tours since then & doing quite well with his shrink(shrink is his word not mine). I worry about him though because it changed him, The things he has seen I could never understand but he says talking about stuff helps him so I listen. He does not hate the muslims he hates their land. The brown & the stink of human waste in their towns is what he says bothers him the most. He said that landing in metro detroit & getting off the plane he was shocked @ how beautiful it smelled after being in Iraq.

Now I worry about Preston with his shrink, The fort hood terrorist/shrink had SOA on his card so I can just imagine how the troops he consoled with are.

So you're saying that all combat veterans who don't think the way you do about the enemy are young, inexperienced, and wrong? I had a wonderful discussion with Master Sargent Hart (ROTC instructor). He fought in both gulf wars, seen many, many tours, and he doesn't feel the way you do. He simply doesn't mistrust the entire religion. So he's automatically wrong and unamerican?

Gain, being shot does have a tendency to change who you previously were, depending upon how many times you have been shot and where. :)

One difference between the Vets of Iraq and Nam for instance is that Nam vets got no counseling upon return. Nam vets for the most part got slammed by the public upon their return. Still do actually. I wrote a letter this summer to the Gunnison Paper about Vietnam issues and it was published. A couple weeks after that, a woman drove into my yard, got out her car and came to my door. I was out back painting. This woman asked for me so my wife brought her to the back deck. She immediately started in on me, telling me things like "get over it", "it was nothing" etc. etc. Soon as I realized it was not some joke, I was stunned at the things she said. My wife and I both looked at each other like, WTF. Anyway, she left right then. She was lucky to leave in one piece. I told my wife, "you have just seen a radical Liberal in action"...........yep, 41 years later us Nam vets still put up with schit like this.

My wife is a retired Homicide Detective and I have never seen her hair raised in all those years. I thought she was going to kill this woman right there on my back deck. It actually scared me to see this side of her..............This woman will NOT get away with what she said to me. There is a time and a place for everything.

The problem I have with you opinion is that it goes against the constitution of the United States. It doesn't sound like you're familiar with the First Amendment; maybe you should try reading it. It is my personal experience, that the vast majority of Muslims condone the violence. This is coming from someone that is an infantryman and has served in three different "combat zones" (although I disagree with that label in some areas). While serving in the infamous Al Anbar providence, after we gained the trust of the general populace, they offered invaluable intel to help us in our crusade against the Taliban. We even armed them and they set up their own checkpoints so the terrorists couldn't infiltrate the area.

Like I have said, each individuals opinion depends each individuals experiences in life. I have mine, you have yours. My opinion does not go against the constitution of the United States and I read it before you were even born. You are welcome to your opinion but I personally think you are full of schit..............

Full of schit? As in I wasn't in the service?

When you say Muslims shouldn't be allowed in country because their religious beliefs....that's hardly freedom of religion. There's been loads of Christians that have gone on rampages; using you rhetoric, Christians shouldn't be allowed in the United States either.

NO, I said YOU were young and did not understand. Master Sergeant Hart, whoever he is can think whatever he wants to think. He doesn't mistrust all Muslims, I do. Please point out and quote me where I said he was wrong and Unamerican. I would like to see where I said that. It sounds more like YOU are telling me I am un American by the way I think. Perhaps YOU should understand that everyone can think however they want to including you. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it, or does it.
