Riser height on Nytro.

The monster works riser I have can be moved back for trail riding and up for mountain/stand up riding. The good thing about it is it keeps the bars positioned the proper way when moving it.

At the snow show they wanted approx 400$ with tax. I just keep my flipper semi loose and turn it down if I need to sit on the trail out. They do look cool just to much $$.

Ahhh very nice Tuesday this is exactly what I was looking for. Will these work with our stock bars do you know??? Or do we need the offset clamps??

Tuesday how tall did you get?? How tall can we go with stock cables? This is what I am gonna be getting just don't know how tall I can go

I ordered pivot adapter/ 7 inch riser/ offset clamps. Stock bars with wildchilds relocation. I have heard that a 8 will fit but I the pivot adapter gives some height too so it should be about 7.5ish and cables look fine. Parts come in next week I will let you know.

Stock riser is approx 6ish.

Thank You sir for all the help...... Hmm I don't know I am thinking about getting the 9" and cables and break lines, I also have the OFT relocater. I had 10" on my XP and loved them.... Think 9" will be to much?? I'm 6'1

I run the same setup as Submission and love it. (oft bushings, CR post 5 inch riser to 1 1/8 moto bars, got the forward mount but have yet to put it in). Also tuesday I am real close to Lacombe if you want to take a look in person.

got my 6 inch ole's riser on my mtx and if fits perfect. im 5'9" and they are the perfect height. puts the bars up at about a 75-80 degree angle i have pics but the camera is being stupid. hmmm maybe should have went with an 8 lol

I sent RSI pms and emails they must be out at sled shows. They never did send me a tracking number. Better yet hopefully they just show up tomorrow.

With wildchilds relocation and the 7 inch riser I hope everything will fit.

.......come on USPS!

They finally showed up today, I plan to stick them on later. I will try to take a pic.

home made adaptor

This is my homemade adaptor with the stock 6" riser. The adaptor added like 2" and it is cut at like a 45 degree angle. I am 6' 2" and it feels perfect. Cables are all stock.riser 3.jpg

Forgot to take the camera will post some pics later.

Wildchilds relocation, pivot adapter, 7 inch riser with offsets I would say is the maximum that will fit with stock cables. Things are not super tight but there is not slack to go any higher. I did have to re-route the throttle cable and move a couple of other things around but it did fit.

My complaints so far are that now there are alot of moving parts that could get loose. The stock set up is not very sexy or adjustable but I never had it loosen on me. The top clamps seem to be fine and where the pivot adapter mounts onto the steering post seem fine. But the lower part of the risers onto the pivot adapter seem iffy to me. I tighten the be-jesus out of them and they kept moving so I would tighten some more. By the end I was afraid I was going to break the bolt. There is only 1 bolt to tighten the lower clamp. They grooved the pivot adapter but the riser is smooth so it has a hard time biting.

Looks alot better and as far as I can tell it fits better as well. Gain about 1.5 inches over stock and its further forward. I just hope it does not loose grip when I need it most.

Welded in the subframe supports as well and put it back together so didnt have time to fab up a light mount. May do that tomorrow.

On another note last time I had my skid out I see that my track could definitely be lined up better. Tell me why they dont have marks on the rails by the axle so you can tell exactly where each side is at. They have done this on bikes forever. I had the tape out and each side looked very close but I can tell by looking at the inner lugs that it is a bit off. I messed with it a bit but then gave up as I was tired.
