I also live in the springs.... There are many areas from 1.5 hrs to 4 hrs..... My fav place is Rabbit Ears (4hrs), but well worth it... Cottonwood is fun, but requires alot of trail riding to get to the good areas.... If we get some good storms along the front range Ophir Creek is a great place to do some boondockin.
In regards to ur sled, I would contact Vohk Performance to find out what jetting/clutching you would need. They would also be able to assist on what fuel mixture you need based on the mods done to ur sled.
