Rev Trenching Problem

I've got an '04 Rev with a 162"x 2.5" track on it and have problems with the sled trenching when leaving from a stop and at slower speeds in the trees - especially in soft snow. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? I get a different answer from everyone I talk to but no one has ever had this much trouble with their sled. I've heard to gear down, mess with clutching, adjust my limiter straps, etc.

Full length skid plate and Simmons skis will help--remove the sway bar. I run my front skid shock in the mid position and my rear springs on 4 on my 04 REV-X-151.

My old mod was a real trencher until I geared it down. Track speed was well into the 100 mph range at full shift and from a dead stand still and at slow speeds it would trench like crazy since it engaged at 4500 rpm and the track was spinning at 30 mph at 5000 rpm. Once I geared it down, it worked way better. I would try limiter straps and susp adjustment and then gear down if necessary.

What track is it?? I know the challenger lite tracks (I think) were the ones that were trenching. Check with tracks Canada if your track is this type. Thats all I can think of.. good luck..:beer;

I find that 3M super88 electrical tape wraped 3 times around the throttle works best in those situations where guys feel the need to stop or go slow when in deep powder.
