When do you leave for the dizzledock adventure?

thursday am the adventure begins. Just picked up a new helmet cam to attach to my camcorder....going to get some good footage on this trip!

I'm a Norcal original..born and raised in San Jose/ Bay Area


Lived on the Delta in Discovery Bay for five years before moving to the rockies! Be back on Friday for some sledding on Sonora Pass.

next 5-7 days has snow in it everyday should have 3ft of fresh by the weekend. Winter might be finally starting.

Its all about the timing! We almost had to cancel the trip then the snow gods delivered!


Whats up with chain laws in CA? If I have a truck towing a trailer...even a two-place then I might be required to chain up. I hear if you have a four-place you need chains on the trailer at times?


Do you know how studded tires play into the whole equation?

Studded tires I don't know about. If you have brakes on a trailer then your going have to chain up the trailer at least. I've included a link that might be of some help.
