Boss, I usually put on burn cream or baby oil. IMO, baby oil works best on frostbite. Almost every trip out in Jan/Feb I got frostbite on my forehead and temples. Sounds like they peeled off and new skin growing underneath, can try the baby oil or that stuff you put on cuts to help heal up quicker.
 
And gotta be careful in the blizzards you've been in, anytime it gets cold and windy you will frostbite in the same place.

Thanks MArv, I will try that. The blizzards have been alot of fun
luckly here in utah we have tons of trees for protection. with 4 guys we had
a great shelter and a roaring fire in no time flat. I will remember the info in the future to help protect my ear. Thanks:beer;

I always wear a balaclava and carry 2 to 3 spares.

I find it weird that I got it on my ear with a head sock and always
wearing my helmet. unless stop then I have a benie on.:confused:
