Removing E-start

Looking at at '16 pro. Downfall is it has E-start. With all the computer mumbo jumbo, I'm afraid of it throwing codes or something if I just go in and remove.
Is this something I should have the dealer do before I leave with it?

Nope, easy as just take it out. Do leave the ring gear on the back of the clutch though, or find a clutch that was balanced without it.

Have electric start on mine, I'm liking it a lot!

You can remove it easily but I'd just leave it and add a turbo. No time to count pounds in weight when you are to busy counting them in boost ?
