Reason why my 99' mountain max 700 triple 151 is the best mountain sled out there

why is it that everyone that is standing up for the yamaha lives in south dakota? I forgot there are no hills and when it snows the wind blows so the snow is as hard as a rock.

thats what i was getting at, never said they were mountains

i like my mountain max. i'd rather have a new sled though..but it gets around just fine for now..

Like my friend says...I used to like my 700mm...until we got that @#$%$% stuck in that canyon in the hills...we had to push that sucker way too far to get it to stay up on the snow, meanwhile my xp 154 was trying to pack the trail down for him...it was funny for the first 5 minutes, not funny after 45 minutes. I am a Yamaha fan, spent most of my days on 600MM. 700 MM awesome in its day...not so much now!!

funny, my mountain max highmarks xp's, dragons, and m8's all day :)

unless they are modded out our turbo'd.. but still, that's not bad for a '01 700 with a 151"..

It didn't piss me off. You just need some better riding buddies! ;)

lol so if someone gets high marked my a mountain max they are automatically a bad rider?

i'd like to ride with you sometime then :)

whatever

mtnmaxmod, nice pics!!! did you drill like 50 holes in that thrasher hood or what? I vented mine, was thinking about more, is that the swiss cheese pattern?

thanks man, i've been riding realllllllllllllly hard this season to try and get recognized..so that means a lot to me!

i actually got the hood from TRIPLESWILLNEVERDIE here on the forum, but i made the front and side vents.

not sure what pattern it is..looks like he did that swiss cheese pattern in the middle..then on the side did two cross hair patterns then put pet screen/windowscreen material on the backside.

here's a better pic

I do live in Oregon! I ride with guys that have been riding since they where kids.... Only a few years for me! Been places that I shouldnt have been with the MM. What can you say LOL. Its not like a NEW sled but I have had no problems where others have. Its very reliable. JMHO

honestly, people can **** talk these sleds all they want, but they have so much potential it's not even funny. with just a few mods they can hang with if not out perfrom 800's.

and we will see who's laughing at the end of the day when the xp's and dragons and m8's break down..and you are towing them all back to the truck.
