Oh and the other fun thing, since my gandparent where immigrants to this country does that mean I can bad mouth the people that where here before them because it took my grandparents a while to learn english? I mean come on, it happened to my gandparents, so obviously it applies diectly to me because that s exactly how I was treated....
Personally I think all the minority advancement groups push racism more than trying to get rid of it.
But isn't that how liberals want people? Miserable and dependent on the government to fix their lives? Telling them why they can't succed?
But segeration is still legal but now flipped the other way around. Example black only colleges. I don't see any protests in the streets about it either,
And about peoples great grandparents being slaves.....let history be history and be happy how far our country has come sice their time and be grateful you never had to go through anything like that.

Agreed! This is a time for all Americans to come together, as I feel we are in for some pretty tough times, home and abroad. We end up with a bunch of little 5ft soldiers, running around inside our country one day, I don't think we're going to worry to much about black or white. Time for the Reps and Dems to get it done and this country to come together!

You know, that's an interesting subject of discussion. Having known some black women, that let their true feelings be known, I have a racist question about that also.
So, woman comes in to work she's been crying. Seems her old man left her for the second time. Now, here's a highly educated, slender, pretty black woman, always nice and polite, home owner and everything. So, the old man keeps leaving her, but not for some "better" woman, no for some fat, trailer trash, white girl. She says there's a growing resentment by black women, at how they are treated by black men. They've started putting pressure on the churches to make this an issue. Why do black men not see black women as equal to white women? Never gotten a black man's perspective on it. No matter how good of friends we were, they won't talk about it. Are white women a status symbol or something?
Hey jonnyk, don't sweat the stupid racist reps, I'm actually impressed that things have changed so much in the past 40 years. Heck, growing up in the south, I can tell you things have changed a lot. And, if you want to talk about racism, let me tell you about the time, this dumb white boy from the south, (first time in L.A.) ran out of gas in a place called Watts. Or, getting off a Metro, in the wrong part of Washington DC, at night. Or, gang awareness training in south San Diego. Or, going walking alone in Puerto Rico, after dark. It gets worse the farther you go away from North America.

Like you said, I could be reading more into what you have posted but I respectfully disagree with some of your thoughts and logic. I do however, respect you a great deal for coming on here and adding your 2 cents worth. Especially in a forum where you are a very outnumbered minority.
