Well, here is your opportunity to fire one up.
Everything is pretty chill on SW right now.
And there is plenty of room to have a good time.
As long as things don't get ugly, you might be pleasantly surprised at how much latitude the moderators will cut you this year...
i am seeing some flexibility on fouled plug now...thats good...its good to have one forum where we can make an arse out of ourself and in a friendly way try to make one out of someone else all in good taste..

I find myself on BCR for the reason that all the "colorfull" people seem to have migrated there.
I don't think I will ever be willing to pay for the use of a site. I think most of the people that feel this way are older like me.
Snow and mud's snowmobile section is non existant or next to it.
Sledjunkies is mostly midwest riding, same with snowmobile fanatics.
For mountain riding I think the choice is either BCR or snowest. BCR's tech section might be a little dead but at least it doesn't have topics like 'how to change a primary spring" Not that a newcomer shouldn't ask those kind of questions, but for us older guys it seems like elementary question that get asked too many times

I click on general, FP, states, mountain and nothing really new or exciting.

I posted somewhere that before myspace and FB, this place was totally "social networking" before social networking was cool. this place was unreal from about 2001 to 2007.
I remember when someone's wife was in labor and he was posting updates as she was walking out to the car to go to the hospital.
I have the humor and mindset of a 15 year old....

It seems yes that BCR is missing out on tech stuff,etc right now, but be honest it's not that old of a site yet.
However there does seem to be more of the old SW "family" and comradere over there, which is huge for building the site up. People are sharing lifes ups and downs, and in turn people are offering help, or calling someone a dumbass over a stupid thing.

His Doc was busy that day and he never got the appointment rescheduled.
