Premier Polaris doesit again!!!

Not to throw Premier Pol under the bus, but I have heard many others comment on the crappy service from that shop. I just happened to get to see it for myself the other day. Wow, this is quite a stretch for such a subject. Let's see if we can get over 50 hits.

41....just because it's friday!!!:beer;:beer;

I gotta say, the RMK-SLP guy was not out of line as far as I witnessed it the other day. That dude behind the counter (apparently Randy) came off right away with an over-the-top attitude as soon as the customer questioned the price of a used part as being the same as a new one. Holy S, that takes real balls to charge new prices for used parts that came off another customers sled bound for the S-can... I mean, the Premier Polaris new parts bin. I've heard enough from everyone about how Randy did the "worthless" guy a favor. You all should have been there, but you were not. I was and believe me the counterman fired the first shot.

So...Who should pay for the part removed from the customers sled? If Randy doesn't charge full price for the borrowed part and say charges half, then who should pay the difference? Randy or the customers' sled it was borrowed from?

Did the "used part" get the sled on the mountain?:light: :light: :light:
I guess that doesn't matter

Sorry was looking for a house to buy in Monroe to be close to my favorite new polaris dealer:) Truth is Randy is lucky enough to take advantage of his mother in law's money to buy a dealership and we should let him enjoy it while it last....before you know it he will be broke working at McDonalds asking you if you want fries with that:D Thanks Eric for pointing out I put it all out there, pride myself in that! Justin is a good friend and I give him props for moving on, I seem to lack that skill!
Thats messed up Will, you apparently dont know the truth about Randy and his dealings, bitter about being let go? hey was it the same at waldrons and at the harley dealer? By the way nice 800 iqr......What shop did you take those parts come from heh?

Eric,
How is this for wasting a first post? I'm an ex-employee and I'm not hiding behind my screen name. lol. I've been watching these posts as well and I've decided to voice my opinion.
I worked for Randy for 2 years. I didn't always approve of his selling tactics, taking old parts off of sleds and trying to get full boat. When that happened I just walked away and talked about it later with him. That is part of the reason I left when I did. I don't like the do or say whatever it takes to make the sale whether it's truth or lie. I'm a truthful person who doesn't want to see a NB on something way to much for them to handle. I love the sport too much to see someone get hurt.
I'll still buy parts from him when I need them due to location but for the most part I deal with John, Everett and Mike at Pierres.

Reallly Tina, 1st post ever? lol

Well Im great friends with the whole Waldrons crew and ride with them all the time and I never got fired so not sure what you mean.....and I work for Downtown Harley as we speak so I dont follow. The IQR that is in my pictured is sitting at Premier for sale and the one I have now has different front and rear suspension, hood, clutching, seat, tank, tunnel etc so not sure what parts I took, again confused. Word was Randy thought I took some walker air shocks or something, they would be about 5in to short for my sled;)Really would like to know what all these great parts are that I suppose to have, would of made my build alot cheaper! Bitter, not at all. Do I want everyone to know what a piece of sh!t he is and try to keep others for being burned...yes. To each there own, dont effect my life either way.
Thanks for setting it straight, ive met ya at PP when you were there and quite frankly not a bad person at all, just dont know about all the gossip that goes on on this washington forum one person says this about that person and on and on and on. Id like to take neutral sides to the issues cause i dont give a crying hoot who *****es about this and that, thats thier problem.

I would recommend you all take your sled in for warranty work at premier or get a price quote over the phone then go in and try to buy the sled for the same price. You will be the next one comparing Randy to Bruce at PSI.

Randy must have watched the movie Fargo, he will make a most excellent used car salesman when Premier folds. Guaranteed you will paying for the under coating and Scotchgard.

Unfortunately for me I do live in Monroe, now I have to drive past 4 Polaris shops to get skagit valley Polaris to spend my snowmobile bucks

Where in Monroe is his shop going in?

I'm hoping he'll have some fair prices on BM oil and other Non brand specific stuff there.
I live out this direction too and having a dealer for aftermarket stuff would be great out here.
If his prices are too high then I'll be driving past him too.

I don't ride Poo so I won't need Poo parts.
But I dam sure wouldn't complain about paying 6 bucks for a part to get my sled back on the snow if I did.
How much is the guys time worth when he removes the part for the customer so the guy can ride.

If he really is as bad as his former employees say he is then he'll be out of business soon enough.
If he did accuse his former employees of theft and they were innocent why didn't they take him to court for defamation of character?
I dam sure would have but I have a few lawyers in the family.:D
Was there possibly some truth to his allegations?
I don't know, just throwing that out there.

Monroe, and the eastern Snohomish county area will be so tough for him to stay in business as it is so if he really is a douche he'll be gone fast.

Maybe this will be a fresh start for him?

Or his demise.

keeping the count rolling

if this thread can save even one fellow snowester from being "peimeranated"
than it is wort it. I am one of the smartest dumb people there is, I was warned about going to premier and I still went and got hosed on warranty work.
sent a good friend there and he got the bait and switch with the undercoating routine.

customer service

What is going to make him more money and keep his shop open?

Ripping off a customer for $3 on a used part, loosing that customer forever, and having him bad mouth you on the internet and everyone he talks to. Or take care of the customer, don't make that $3, and turn him into regular repeat customer who recommends your shop to his friends.

There are lots of options for buying parts; it’s the customer service that brings me back to a shop.

Just a thought...

Just a thought...

But to continue that thought...

He could have stuck to his original answer he gave and that was "No" he didn't have another part in stock and after the customer asked him if he was sure about that Randy went in the back, found one on a sled, removed the part and sold it to him so he could ride.

I have NO IDEA what type of guy Randy is because I've never met him or had the need to buy anything from him but that right there IS customer service.

I would have been happy to pay a measly $6.00 for the part, thanked him for taking care of me and went home to install the part so I could ride.

$6.00 is pocket change.

How much more would that part have cost him if the customer had to drive to another dealer to try to find it?
A helluva lot more than $6.00 in gas alone.

Talk about biting the hand that just fed you.

You could have said a simple no, then called around to some other shops. I ff it was neeeded that bad then give him the 7 bucks and let it go. Just search here for some other posts about that shop, before you join and stick your foot in your mouth. Piss poor way to join snowest.....Whaaaaaaa!

I agree that was good customer service. I think where things went wrong was when the customer questioned full retail for a used part. From what I have read (I was not there) he had some attitude about it. He could have said sorry I don't have any in stock but what I can do is pull one from a sled in back, but I'll have to charge you full price so I can replace that part. If he had just grabbed it out of the used parts bin in back, sell it to him cheap or just give it to him. The customer will remember this and reward you with his future business.

Again, I agree. $6 to get your sled going for the weekend, that’s a bargain. But some people are hard to please. As a dealer it is your job to make them happy so they come back. Loose a few bucks now, make the customer happy and you will end up ahead in the long run.

I hope somebody got a thrill over trashing my rep for giving my third-party account of what I saw go down at Premier Polaris... I hope I will still be able to pull my life back together...Boo Hoo
-Seeking Counseling

I see counseling isnt helping you any!

Some of the posts on here that dis Randy and his crew REALLY don't know him! If you don't understand his sense of humor...move along! You are wasting more time 8itching about something you have no control over. Go buy from someone else if you are that unhappy!

Adrenaline Revolution for the last time he did NOT remove the part off of a sled he found it in the shop. You need to learn how to read better than a 4 year old. Also the entire point of this post was that Randy has really bad customer service, its not about the 3 worthless dollars that he wants to make now and not make a lifetime customer. My advice to you is that you should go get you're GED and then read the post and tell me what you think.
