Powder Jack..A Must Have In The Steep And Deep

Hey Sidehill, You don't approve of my posts? You give me thumbs down because I state the truth? You coward, post your opinion for all to see. The copy jack is a cheap, exact copy, not close to, but exact copy. Cheap azz materials were used, but it's design was taken directly from Bill. I state the facts, yet you feel the need to give me bad rep. Up yours!

Sidehill has given me Bad rep twice in two different posts about this jack. maybe he is the deadbeat that is behind the copy crap. Eric

Another reason to buy the High Jacker.

At the snowshow a guy who was looking at the Jack's made a comment that the corners on the newest model were more rounded off, not like the one he had purchased. Without hesitation Bill said "send it to me and I'll give you a new one." The customer was only joking but I think Bill was ready to hand him a brand new one then wait for the other to show up. That is just the kind of guy he is.

People who run their business with this much respect for their customers earn our business. Especially when they back that up with a top notch, "quality" product.

A side by side pic of the two would settle any dispute. Anybody have pics they could post up of Bill's High Jacker? Side by side the knock off is a joke.

That was me and yes Bill did give me strap that I didn't have on the trail last season. Thanks for the bad rep sidehill, what comes around goes around!

Im still looking forward to trying out my powderjack. If its a piece of junk then ill be the first to admit it but until then its all just hearsay really since no one has had the chance to use it extensively. I do not disagree the quality is not the same as the hijacker, but will it work for what i want it for, i think it will. Time will tell....

sidehole

bad rep and proud of it.......anyway I bet most of these powder jacks are gonna find their way back to the maker for warranty as they will not stand up to the rigors of field use......be a shame to have to spend the night walking out of some ravine cause you bent the pole...how many metalyards do you have to search to find a solid piece of aircraft grade aluminum that'll fit in the mechanism, appropriately drilled and machined?...not high on my list of things I wanna spend my time on.....I'd rather get bad rep.

LMAO, I never gave anyone of you bad rep. I gave you all thumbs down because I felt your comments had nothing to do with the first guys post. You guys say I gave you bad rep and I never. So since you never lie I went back and gave you all bad rep along with the thumbs down.

I just read the whole thread & don't see how you feel that their posts had nothing to do with the original post? Someone is advertising a product that is a direct copy of another product, I think that's as related as it gets.

Nothing against you, I just think they have every right to make people aware that the product being advertised is a rip off, then they can decide for themselves if they want to save the money or buy the original.

Now there is an intellegent person right there! That is exactly what we are trying to convey on this post. I have no problem promoting a good product when it isn't some cheap knock off of somebody elses idea:beer;

One of the top complaints we get from our members is that content on SnoWest is not targeted towards their needs. For this reason, we allow members to choose the forums they want to see. This means members who are interested in ONLY certain subjects can choose to subscribe only to those topics. Members who want to participate in political discussions, or Non-Snowmobile topics, can opt-in to that content as well. In order for this system to work, we as moderators try to be diligent about our housekeeping efforts in keeping all of the content in the right place. Having things organized properly really helps people have a better experience.

This post has been moved to a different location where we feel it belongs. Often times after reading a Thread or Post we determine that there is a better permanent forum for it to live in and move it there accordingly. This is done to make it easier for your content to be found by other SnoWest members in the future, and to ensure that all topics stay in the best possible category

Certainly we understand that there are many of forums on SnoWest and we can't and don't expect everyone to start threads in the right place every time. We hope you understand that our goal is not to offend or cause contention in our actions as moderators. If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this message and I'll be happy to explain in more detail.

If you'd like to review the general guidelines that we as moderators use to help determine when these types of actions are necessary, please review them here: http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38399

But please also understand that not all of our actions are black & white and we do have to occasionally make judgement calls. This is especially true for political topics which we try very hard to keep compartmentalized, even if they are a "gray area". Again, I'm open to discussing this with you if you feel this is wrong.

Thanks for your understanding.

This makes no sense to me. Anyone else???

p.s. Bill's jack is superior in quality. I just hope that no one going with the powderjack suffers injury due to the 'cheap' build.

most of his posts need some explaining

lol

I think it was a joke about the weight of a Yamaha and them needing a jack and this thread belonging there? But who really knows.

Did I mention the Hijacker is a superior product with quality craftsmanship and even higher quality customer service.
