Post your 2022 snowcheck!

Sweet, congrats! I noticed that on my confirmation as well that I had until 4/15 to make changes which is good.

So you removed the e-start eh? Decided you didn't want the extra 20lbs :)

I was on the fence initially on that as well. At first I wanted it because why not, then I learned how much weight they added which was surprising! I'm still younger and in shape so don't mind pull start haha but figured I'd get it now anyway. it's cheaper now then adding it later.

Ha yeah I knew that I’d obsess over the 20 pounds and when I got confirmation that 7s has a battery so that you can see the screen when sled isn’t running, I removed it from the order.

the 2.75 is a 3.5 pitch and the 3.0 is a 3 pitch. the longer pitch seems to be working good in powder and makes for a lighter track.
Personally i have rode all Polaris tracks that have been made and I am liking the 2.75. I had a 174x3” and I liked the 3 there but in the 165 length I prefer the 2.75.
It will depend on style of riding to me more than snow conditions.
I like to steer lots with the throttle and brake and this to me is where the 2.75 is better. In the deepest of snow maybe the 3” will give a slight edge, but the 2.75 carry’s a little more track speed so kinda balances out.
Overall we ride more average snow than super deep so the 2.75 has more better days than the 3”.
the 3” track will push more on harder snow than the 2.75 will.
sorry for the long winded opinion, but it is not a simple answer. Good luck with your choice.

It actually is simple.

Plan to remove all the blue and do something OEM+ looking. Also adding my Fox QS3s and 163 Khaos bomber rails.

First ever snow check. Polaris made all the changes I wanted so figured why not. Going to put on my Fox QS3’s , ZRP lightweight clutch parts & buy a Diamond S can.

I don’t think the qs3 rear track shock will work. They moved the upper idler wheels in by the shock I have the coil qs3 and it appears the reservoir will hit. It will work on the coil setup if I mount it in reverse with the reservoir upside down anyone know if the qs3 shock will work with The reservoir upside down.I know the zbros are actually mounted with the reservoir upside down on the AXYS.

Hmm that will be a bummer if they don’t fit. I did notice that they moved the uppers inward on some & the prototype that Dan Adam’s rode in his YouTube video had them in the outermost position. A lot of people going to be mad if this is the case.

How would the velocity shocks work then. Is the qs3 reservoir that much bigger than the velocity.

Got word from ice age the qs3 coil spring rear track shock will work without issue just flip it over.
i’m assuming the air qs3 will not work because there is a reservoir on both ends.

Now you have a good excuse to replace the air with the coil spring setup they will work better anyway.

Best picture I found of that color.

First-time snowchecker here. Curious what others are paying for freight & setup fees? I was quoted nearly a thousand for that and it seems super excessive. My doo buddies are paying $0.

Zero $$$$ freight and setup. Might be because of purchasing multiple years.
