Any idea how much weight the electric starts adds?

I make a lightweight box and battery kit for the axys and the total weight of the e-start components is about 8 lbs with the kit... it is 20 lbs with the factory battery... I will be designing a kit up for the matrix chassis as soon as my boost buggy arrives

I ordered electric start b/c I thought it would be helpful to have the 7s screen available if sled is not running. But can anyone confirm whether 7s has its own battery anyway?

I believe the 7s only battery is different than the e-start battery though correct? somewhere on here someone mentioned the 7s battery was very very tiny.

Still available if you live near... west Yellowstone according to the polaris website. Technically I snowchecked two but unless we running a scheme I only intend to get the one. Feels. Interesting being on the big boy "I got a new forum " form section. Been a decade for me. Lol I skipped axys all together and working on quite the game of pro rmk mod sleds. Glad polaris went all in! Stoked.

I got super lucky ordering one online at a tiny off the radar dealer after work yesterday. I thought it was a Hail Mary after calling multiple local dealers but it looks like I got one. I’m stoked as I really didn’t want to order the Doo turbo.

Finally! what a sigh of relief. Was the first to finalize my order/deposit with my dealer 1 min after they opened on Wednesday but never did get that confirmation.
He just called me to confirm all my options because he was now submitting the order to Polaris. Well now I know why I never got that confirmation email But to be fair, they didn't place any orders yet which is why I still had my first spot in line on their allotment. He did continuously assure me I was 100% good to go and not to worry, so good to see that trust was there.

Also went back to the low bars.

Nope I'm not sure? I was looking into this previously I recall reading, on the AXYS, it added around 20lbs or so and then you could reduce that by adding a lighter/lithium battery.

But I believe, there is already a battery on the models with the 7S screen so the addition of the electric start would be slightly less than 20 lbs.

I'm just guessing though based on the little info I've been able to gather so far.

Good point, what's the process for this? so far I've only received the initial email from Polaris when I submitted my SnowCheck last night and then my dealer sent me the $500 deposit receipt saying I'm all good and I was the first one, for them of course. I called them 1 minute after they opened.

What is the standard amount of time to receive the confirmation from Polaris?

Got my confirmation today. Even had time to make a change and remove electric start before the order was confirmed. Confirmation email says I have until 4/15 to make any changes.

Sweet, congrats! I noticed that on my confirmation as well that I had until 4/15 to make changes which is good.

So you removed the e-start eh? Decided you didn't want the extra 20lbs

I was on the fence initially on that as well. At first I wanted it because why not, then I learned how much weight they added which was surprising! I'm still younger and in shape so don't mind pull start haha but figured I'd get it now anyway. it's cheaper now then adding it later.

Cv customs makes an awesome kit for the axys so im sure they will for this. When you look at the battery you'll think no way. Never pulled the rope.

Im in the process of snowchecking a khaos slash 163 " 3" or Pro 163" 3" non turbo because non are left. Just curious why most go 2.75" over 3" I have always run 3" because I only usually ride in the deep B.C. Powder. Any thoughts on the polaris 3 " ? this will be my first polaris, coming from a skidoo 850 and a 18 cat 162 3" which climbed amazing.
