boy you guys gotta grow up, how old are you....
this is the first time in decades polaris has come to the table with anything worth riding in the mountains comparable to the other brands
i have been riding 25 years in the mountains and finding a polaris that ran good was like a needle in the hay stack
i am very happy for the remaining poo riders, you have a contender, and might have riders that will do the switch to poo, but polaris must remind itself to keep pushing forward
for them to go forward from here, they must make the hp of the other brands, for all that feel the tq is the same, IT SIMPLY CANNOT BE, and my last ride on the pro, it was very eveident, and will be for anyone running a higher tq machine
now for the comments of the chassie making up for the hp, that is a load of wishful thinking... and the comments of it getting on the snow quicker, might have something to do with the etec spinning the track much quicker off the start
also as for sidehilling, the pro runs a 15inch wide track, the smaller footprint naturally will alow for eaisier handling, and if they had a 14 inch it would handle again eaisier, i would not go back to the 15 inch unless the sleds got under 400 lbs again, the days in the big powder you see in a hurry whos track works better
so for me if poo wants to be a stong contender, it needs comparable hp, it needs a real track under it, 2.5 by 16 by 15?/16?
doo riders have had it real sweet the last decade, because brp has taken mountain riding serious, cat has came along nicly as well, so when you hear poo coming in with a mountain machine that is better than all, it does get awfull suspecious
