Answers?!?
I actually was just at my Polaris dealer and we had opened a "MyPolaris" case through their dealer system. The answers they came back with were :
Polaris has hired a third party company to handle the gift card refunds. There was apparently some confusion (stupidity)... within this company and many of the warranty claims were denied. (including mine) They are apparently in the process of going back through all of the claims and reviewing them because many of them have been denied in error. This company has mistaken the time frame that the original purchase, and the second purchase of the 12' sled had to be made within and denied these claims. Supposedly Polaris will be sending out a letter to anyone who had their claims denied, and they will all be re-reviewed and awarded to the people who qualified.
No date or time frame was given in response to how long it will actually be before this is all straightened out or when the cards will be delivered. I have heard a lot of speculation, and other answers to why people havent gotten their cards but this is the only one that actually came directly from POLARIS to me. I have not received any letter from polaris, and was really counting on that money back to pay for my trip out west in a week. Dont think thats going to happen anytime soon. It really sucks for all of us that this was a deciding factor in whether we were going to trade or not this year, and on top of that paid cash up front for the sled. I should really demand interest on that money past the 10 wk waiting period they originally claimed!!!
