Been thre done that man! I knew nothing on turbo sled at he beginning of the season but decided to turbo my dragon anyway.
Best advice on here was print the instructions from bd and read them not once but 2-3-5-10 times if needed. You need to know how to do everything on this sled or pretty much. When I started I wold read charge tube and wonder what that should look like and then fuel pressure regulator and still don't know what it means. After reading instructions several times (before install cause I did my own install) and reading every possible thread on here I ended up building an okay knowledge of my sled.
I am riding anywhere between 00 to 3000' and I can assure you 6-7 psi with 100% avgas is not a problem.
I would also suggest you build yourself a little plastified tuning guide that you can just throw in you backpack or under the seat. This way when you're out there you have something to work from. Don't go out thinking you will remember all the buttons and numbers on the box!
Finally most important thing, start tuning too rich and then lean it out. Makes sense you will say but hey you never know what people can do!
