will be going to Placer on Saturday. Are you going Saturday Chad ?

Chris, I found a pair of Klim Radium GTX boots at Alaska Power Sports. They are having a killer sale on the boots. I bought mine for $ 159.96. For anybody thats interested these boots are probably the best on the market and the ONLY snowmobiling boots that are 100% Guar to keep you dry. They have many more pairs

PS, everywhere I looked online including Klim is sold out of their Radium GTX boots so if you have been looking for a pair better hurry and save yourself 100 bucks.

Chad give me your phone number I have a question to ask and do not want to type that much, Larry

Heading to Placer tomorrow if the weather looks good. If not, then Saturday and Sunday....or maybe all 3 :D

Caleb....Chad... text me in the morning. My buddies are staying at their cabin in Talkeetna, they said it was sick.... but i think they just rode in the trees. I'm gonna call them early AM. If its clear i'm gonna head up there.... anything else i wanna ride tomorrow regardless, i'll take one for the team and give a report on conditions at Placer. If anyone else heads south i will be in a black 07 tahoe and a two place... two black revs. See u there hopefully.

Rode placer today. Almost great weather, kinda windy - though lighting was great for the majority of the day! Snow is another story. In the flats the snow is worthless, other than it covers the vegetation and keeps the riding area open. Rock solid with 4-6 inches of fresh - where the wind didn't blow it. Climbed into a bowl as high as i could get and found amazing snow, great base. Didn't hook up with anyone from Snowest, but had a blast nonetheless.

We started around 2 pm and went straight for Squirrel Flats. We were the only who that had been up and when we got to the top it was clear, sunny, and NO tracks. Good afternoon ride.

went to placer, first truck there. dowloaded and started riding out, m ysled kept on overheating so we scratched placer and headed to turney. everything was super windblown with very little snow. i did not make it past the flats before i left

Rode placer today, Caleb, yours and Chad's tracks were all drifted over. The river bed sucked but once you get up into the hills its not bad. Clear all day and cold but the wind wasn't that bad. About a foot of suger on top of a windblown base but deeper in protected areas and valleys. saw a bunch of little slough avys on the steeper slopes. All in all had a blast today.
