My sled is an 06 and therefore has no "dragon button" pipe preheat switch. No other motor damage, just worn out reed petals and one broke off. Havent torn into it yet so not sure if damage, but I dont think there is any aside from my Oakley reed petals :)

the photobucket vids were not working for me?

placer was sick again on saturday. looks like it is getting slammed with rain down low though.

Not sure why the vids wont work for you...nothing exciting anyway just me and caleb hittin that cornice above where you guys were hittin that little whip..btw your boy on the yellow race chassis rev was launchin it pretty good

IQRIDR... Did you ride your IQR before your mods?? Son is looking to get one after seeing yours at spencer. How was it in deep powder ect.. Trying to figure out how much $$$ this might get me for. Wouldn't be bad if he can ride and stock parts for a season then mod over summer. Thanks for the info..

mark, more than ill sell ya the mt cat for! just needs a new starter cover lol... did u hear bout the cabin? hell, 2 seized motors, stabbed track, broken starter recoil, broken shock (which i fixed with a bungie, works better than before) and the temp was 45degrees so it was 4 ft of bottomless wet snow lol

I bought it as a factory 600 mod with a 136" hillcross track on it, I switched to the camo challenger. It does ok in the deep powder but it has a really steep attack angle on the track, it loses speed up hill in deep snow pretty easily, other than that it floats and manuevers really well..it's really light as well, easy to left and yank on when stuck, easy to throw around in the air or on the ground. I like it alot but one set up like mine will run you around $7k-$8k used..if you build it yourself here's a quick list of approximate costs, it's worth it if you got the coin

-440 Chassis-$4k to $5k
-136" setup w/ track, rail and tunnel extensions- $1000
-I've got about $4k into this motor but you can get a stock 600 for around $1500-$2000
-9 gal tank, re-valve shocks, couple other trail-conversion items, $500-$1000

If you go the way I did with all the mods, I would suggest buying one used to get a break on the cost of everything, otherwise it's easy to spend $10-$13k putting a sick one together. The list above is nowhere close to what I've put into mine but just a basic main-parts cost list along the way. I know it sounds like alot but they are TONS of fun to ride and unlike some others, not everyone else on the hill has one just like it.

That guy was on a yellow rev. Yes he was tearin it up out there. Every time I seen him he was hitting it big on a jump. He was getting like 10-15' air on the jump I was taking all of the pictures of Caleb and Chad. Hey, how did those pictures turn out anyways ? I thought a few were pretty nice but hard to tell from the 2" screen with a lot of light hitting it.

Chad, I picked up a set a Slydog Powderhounds for my sled and installed them tonight. Think I will like the better than the stock ski doo pilot 6.9's ? I remember seeing yours and you said you loved them so I thought I would give them a shot. Worse case is I hate them and you owe me 450.00 for bad advise right ? lol

i got an 06 440 and it is a TON of fun even for just a lil 440 they go really well
i got mine for around 6 fully trail converted in a year ive yet to break any thing on it and i ride it hard

Get one and throw in a 600 and those IQ's are sweet. If you really want a monster through in a 800 like i had and they are killer! One of the most sleds i have ever had, wished i would of kept it around for sure. ALittle more work for the 800 but well worth it i think. Either way though, cant go wrong.
