Palin sinking like a rock?

OMG! that is how I felt the whole evening!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course you would...
I felt she did a fair job standing up, toe to toe against a career politician.
It turned out better than I had expected. I felt she did not stand a chance against another slick Washington insider.
But like you, My mind is already made up on who I will vote for so as much as I tried to be unbiased in my take on the debate, it became impossible to remove all biased opinion and judge it fairly.
If you plan to vote for Mcain, you felt Palin did well.
If you plan to vote for the Obamessiah then you feel Biden did well.
That's just human nature.
Only those who are truly on the fence and have not cast their vote in their mind already will judge this mutually unbiased.

And Biden's little "Mustered up tear" ? That was well scripted...But he took it from Hillery's script. Palin should have offered him a tissue and suggest he "Buck up little camper". Pure cheeze.

BTW...Quoting the Seattle Times? Please, the most left leaning liberal rag in the Northwest?
That would be the same as a Palin supporter quoting FOX news saying she was the clear winner.

It turned out better than I had expected.

agreed - but not a reason to call her the debate "winner"

I've never said my mind was made up - I did, however say, the debate did not change my mind....

I found good/bad, right/wrong with both of the candidate's responses. I even learned a thing or two about the issues.... but to be honest, for me this election will boil down to voting for the lesser of two evils.... which truly saddens me.

I agree, I don't feel she won either but I feel she did SOOoooo much better at holding her own in the National spotlight with all the liberal hatred thrown her way recently. I was actually proud of her for that.

Every response give by you that I have seen on politics in the past few weeks tells me that your mind is made up!

We agree %100 on this one. This is the best our country has to offer?
The last 3 elections were the same. Which one will do less damage to my country? !!

You do have to admit though...Bidens answer about "Global warming being
%100 mans fault" not only shows his ignorance but also shows he is not willing to ruffle the feathers of the fanatically liberal special interst groups, shoveling donations their way who are making millions, spoon feeding their agenda to the world.
I agreed with Palin's answer on that subject completely.

YEP!

ahhh, that's because we all read too fast, and see what we want to see.... myself included. I have said I don't think Palin was chosen for her ability to be VP, and that McCain chose her to stir the pot. I have said I'm not voting republican just because the candidate for VP and her husband snowmobiles. I've criticized folks for making rude comments to folks who disagree with their own political views, but not once have I stated who I was going to vote for ;)

I think we should have another option on the ballet and if that option gets more than 30% of the vote, the election is voided and we start over with new candidates.

NONE OF THE ABOVE.
The last 6 elections have come down to the lesser of 2 evils.
Why is it we all can agree on most points (with a few exceptions), yet we can't find a politician that even comes close to the middle ground most of us stand on?

Because it seems that no one is interested in the middle ground.
Especially the media.
The only way to get attention is to be extremely conservative or liberal.
We should all be afraid of extremism of any kind.
It doesn't allow itself to hear other viewpoints.

What say you all about Tom Brokaw's comment..? we all know how unbiased he is...

"..the democrats are happy there is only one VP debate".

:p

It means they should be thankful that he got in and got out without looking completely stupid....
That is my take on the comment anyways....

Although I thought both did a nice job last night I thought, the media and CNN especially will make sure that the democrats get the White House. I can't even watch CNN anymore...

Why else would the democrats be happy there is only one vp debate?

Maybe, since she improved that much from her last interviews, they may not want to debate her, after she learns the "debate" ropes a little better.

You realize a "unexperienced" type B personality, held her own with mister experience?

Also makes you wonder how her interview was really conducted. Hostile, edited to make her look a little bad. Hummm...

Glad to see she did no damage, and stood her ground. I my book that's a lot better than people expected. Good job Palin, lord knows I don't want to stand on TV and answer pointed questions thrown at me.

I like the fact that Palin don't know chit up on the hill

she'll look at a bill and go WTF? LOL NO! then tell McCain how stupid it is and McCain will get on the media and say "senator X has put this across my desk, I'm striking it down because its pork"

bammmo!

Biden is used to that chit and won't even see the xtra crap in a bill (if he even reads it) and shrug his shoulders and Obama will pass it and tax the bejeasus out of us.

then we'll get a bridge to nowhere (Biden voted that in before Palin was in office)

A little something to lighten up these festivities..."How is it that Alaska gets a Governor that looks like Sarah Palin, that actually does something constructive for her state and we poor bastids get Christine Gregoire, a worthless scarecrow, to represent the state of Washington?!?" : BIG WAY ;)

Oh come on! What about our other politicians? Murray and Cantwell, or even our first female Gov- Dixie Lee Ray, made Janet Reno look like a playmate. OH GOD- I just threw up in my mouth alittle just thinking about it. Gregoire's first 6 mo in office, I hoped everyday for a debilatating hand cramp so she would stop signing new taxes and unnecessary laws

well apparently according to Fox news and the poll they had re the debate ...she was a solid 86% over 12% when asked if she won the debate ...any questions
