Is it me, or is Palin's popularity sinking (finally) like the rock she crawled out from? I have a hard time understanding why McCain even went to her for the VP...

It will be interesting to see how the debate goes... Biden should do alright as long as he doesn't make an ars out of himself..

I'm Canadian so I don't give a rat's arse about US politics but I think that the spoofing that has been going on about her has to have a negative effect on her campaign. How come Mary Hart didn't have a 2 day interview/love fest with MCain/Palin like she did with Obama/Biden?

The media is doing EVERYTHING in their power to try and destroy this women. She is pulling the female vote from Obama.

The Media has likewise done everything in their power to ignore Biden and his flubs, such as his statment that it is your duty to pay your taxes regardless of how high they are or his admittance that life begins at conception (a HUGE taboo to dems). YOu don't hear about it because the media won't tell you.

I don't think she will quit. I don't see her as a quitter.

As for why McCain chose her. He's smart that's why. The dems were and are painting him as a stoggy old fuddy duddy stuck in the ol' boys network. Kind of blows a hole in that when he puts a lady up for VP when the dems refused to do so even though it would have clinched it for Obama.

She said something that I think you will see in the debate. Obama keeps talking about change in washington yet he chooses a running mate that was in washington when Palon was in highschool. Talk about a washington insider.

That is the whole that will sink the ship! It is not about picking a woman, it is about McCain picking an incompetent woman. I think that is why many woman won't vote for her. It is a slap in the face... chosen because she is a woman, nothing more... If all she has to offer to McCain is her age and breasts.. well, what does that say about us?

DING DING DING!! Nobama has no great achievements or qualifications for the job. The minute that guy got elected Sentor, he started his bid for the White House. If I was from IL, I would fell betrayed that the person elected for the Senate is not even doing his job representing his own state.

She has been in office longer.
Has held different offices prior to getting the one she has.
Has more legislation experience than he does.

Obama ONLY piece of legislation is an 850 BILLION dollar giveaway to foreign countries in an attempt to buy their love and respect. Maybe you like him, maybe not, but he has less experience than Palon.

I don't see a problem with her.
Granted the media has done EVERYTHING in their power to smear her. Attacked her kids, her looks, the fact she is a women. Which if anything makes me like her more. The more the media hates her the more I think she is perfect for the job.

The role of a Senator in Congress is not only about sponsoring legislation, or creating fluff for a resume..... there is much much more to it. That is an oversimplification.

Incompetent.. Maybe her lack of strong education in finances/ foreign policy / history of law... Maybe her lack of foreign affairs.. They are not on the same league at all... It has nothing to do with her being a woman (which seems to be why most of you think McCain chose her ) or the fact that she is a conservative...

I guess what I am trying to say is that Palin seems more like an average American, which while good, the average American is not qualified to run for VP. She answers questions similarly to how I would..... I am not qualified to run for VP either.
