The black bolt comes with a new clutch. When my Boost clutch was replaced after it came off the dealer gave me a black bolt with the new clutch. It's just for installation like everyone is stating. Use it to torque to 140 then install silver bolt to 110.

I seen this picture in a recent thread on another forum. According to the poster, it shows from left to right, new bolt, old bolt, and installation bolt. I'll have a closer look at my black bolt in the morning to see which style it most closely resembles... I was assured I would receive an installation bolt and the 7528304 bolt (which people are saying is black). 7528304 is apparently very recent and superseded 7328193 just in the last week or two. I'm confused because it seems like I should have received two black bolts, but one of them is silver.

So it looks like I received the new clutch bolt and the old clutch bolt, but no installation bolt. The silver bolt was in an unmarked ziploc bag, but the black bolt was in a sealed package marked 7528304 inside the update kit. Does anyone know the part number of the Polaris installation bolt? I think I would just use an old clutch bolt for the initial torque to 140…..seems the bolt should handle it fine.

The only bolts more famous than the polaris bolts are the bolts left out the Boeing 737max door.
2024-year of the bolts
Who knew that 6 bolts could impact the whole wide world?

This thread is funny so many different bolts. I’m beating a dead horse but put the P-85 on you’ll never think about your clutch bolt again and it performs better too

NOOOO….. I got a black bolt now, so all clutch woes are averted. That pile of metal powder and shavings under my clutch has nothing to do with this. Got a black bolt and shiny new stickers so nothing can stop me now….

Funny I rented a poo thus year and lost the key in a precarious tree well. Took a call to the rental shop to tell me I can unhook it under the dash and it'll run.

You didn't get the piece of paper to add to your owners manual??? Your dealer is not legit. My sleds both have the sweet new sticker!

Ha ha I did get the accompanying papers, but I did have to stop at a dealer five hours away since my local shop is definitely not legit. I just need to decide on framing them or not.

I think the strategy is to get water into fuel tanks so each repair makes Polaris money

Unless they changed all of the fuel lines to a non-corrosive material, non “drying” or metal because that’s what ethanol does dries out, rubber hoses and seals and what not🤷🏻‍♂️
