i have a few things to say.....if you are ready to say 'fire' we need to find another means of communication, strength in numbers, and organization is key...its either all for one or none for crap.....the risk may or may not measure up to what people are willing to lose... I am more than willing to fight for not only my future but my kid's future, and that is what drives me! what drives all of you? are you willing to risk it all for your kids? are you ready to stand up for what you believe in? I'm not just calling caucasians, I'm calling all AMERICANS that are ready to stand up for what they believe in, what the military has sacrificed so many lives for, not only in the current clusterfu*k but all conflicts. Dear President Obama,

The American people expect you and your administration to do your utmost to create and preserve jobs for American workers. ICE raids deter unscrupulous business owners from hiring illegal-alien workers in lieu of Americans or legal immigrants. Why do you oppose these raids when they have the potential to benefit millions of Americans?

You have promised time and again to create jobs for Americans. While ICE raids may not be as expensive or fancy as a $750 billion stimulus package, they do preserve jobs for American workers. I find it disheartening that you would rather stand up for the rights of illegal alien workers (people who do not have the legal right to work in the United States) than stand up for America's unemployed and underemployed.

Your Administration is revealing that you would rather pander to special interest groups than help America's downtrodden. First you opposed a provision of the stimulus package that would have required fund recipients to use of E-Verify and now you (through a White House spokesman) have opposed ICE's work site enforcement raids. Your actions help only special interest groups and illegal-alien workers, not America's unemployed.

I urge you to rethink your actions and determine whom you truly represent. Do you represent those people who elected you or do you represent illegal-alien workers and the unscrupulous, un-American business owners who hire them?

The partison fighting you see now in washington was unheard of till the Clinton years. Oh there were partison fights once in a while, but today it is the norm. Bills will be killed just because the other party put it forward.
Washington doesn't work anymore. Hasn't in 20 years.

As for the law of the land.
You have to understand where I come from concerning the law.
Personal responcibility is the be all and end all of law to me.
I think the federal government should only have control of the military and commerce when it deals with other countries. The states can deal with roads and such much better than the government.
I believe in the constitution and the bill of rights.
I believe in controling our borders and who does and doesn't cross them.
I could care less what you do, where you do or how you do it, right up until what you do adversly affects someone else.

Theres a couple books I could recommend if you are truly interested.
Personal responcibility has been bred out of the US. Groups like NAACP have made it their goal to turn the country into a nanny state with everyone being a victum. In their view, there are no criminals because everyone is a victum. Illigals are justified in breaking our laws because they can, they just want to make their lives better. that same arguement can be used for ANY crime, regardless of who it harms. Criminals all just want to make their lives better.

An illigal immigrant doesn't just take jobs away.
They degrade the very basic fabric of our country, they demand we learn their language, they demand to be allowed to bring their entire extended family here, they demand that we follow thier customs, their holidays, their way of life prior to coming here, they demand to be able to do what they did in their prior country even if it is illigal here. They demand what we have worked generations for be handed to them on a silver plater. Not gonna happen.

There is no way illigal aliens will ever get amnesty without open warfare in this country.

So what is the problem with the way immigrants are handled? I worked border patrol for 3 years. We handled them with respect unless they gave us a reason to treat them differently, just like anyone you deal with in LE.

Yes if you break the law you are a criminal. I don't just call them criminals as you suggest....they are technically criminals...this is not subjective as you portray it. The last time I checked....if you break a law (excluding minor traffic violations) that makes you criminal. How do you know these illegals that you know are good people? Do you follow them around? As for laws, our laws consider someone that comes here illegal as the same status as a traffic violation for there first offense. So if you have an traffic violation, you are just as bad as a illegal alien.....

Case in point. Australia takes in 120,000 immigrants a year. We take in that many in a month.

There are 10's of millions of immigrants that would gladly go thru the process to come to America. The illigals have decided they don't need to bother with the process, they just need to wait and the dems will let them sidestep the process.

One of the reasons the process is the way it is, is so we get the best people and the people that actually WANT to be here. They WANT to assimilate into OUR culture. They want to become US citizens because they want to work for the american dream. They will work hard to learn our history, our language, our way of life. They want to be part of it, not change it to fit what they want.

The illigals and the past amnesty recipients don't have to learn the lauguage, they don't have to learn our history, they don't have to go thru the process. The politicians will tell you they have too, but then after the fact they exempt them because it is too difficult.

As requested, i have re-read your posts. My point is that we need to enforce the immigration laws that we already pocess. Our borders need to be secure, which will allow the Govt. to screen, detain, and deport the bad seeds. I am old school on this. When my Ancestors immigrated, their wives bashed on the men to quit speaking German. They told them that they are now Americans and to take pride and learn the language. Why is that such a sour point in this country? Why is it not a requirement for immigrants to learn English? It was not my intention to label you as a heel dragger or fence rider. He all you guys. This crap scares the hell out of me. I am 70 so I suppose it shouldn't matter but it does. My relatives all came here through Ellis Island where they had to prove they were healthy, had some sort of papers proving who they were, where they were going, did they have some sort of sponsorship or jobs some where and did they have money enough to get there.

I read all these threads just now so my head is spinning. How can anyone think we can decide which laws we will obey or disobey according to whether we like them or not? I don't like speed laws but i have learned that I have to obey them. That is the way our country works. If you don't like a law, work to change it, not make yourself a criminal. Any thing else is anarchy. I believe we have to enforce the laws on the books until they are changed. Obama is included in this and this is apparently where the problem is going to come.
