Well I will be the devils advocate....kind of.

First I believe current laws do not work. They do not allow the average immigrant to become a citizen. That should change.
I believe that something really needs to be done with the illegals that are here. Knowing full well that they will not get rid of them all, no matter how bad people kick and scream. What is the solution?
The problem I have with what was just done, has already been mentioned in this thread. Why have a border? Without securing the border before doing this, what will stop an influx of illegals from coming here? Once they get across the border, they have nothing to worry about.
I am daring to bet that the southern states are going to get inundated with Mexicans very shortly.....well even more so than they already are.

There is one MAJOR problem I have with the current immigration system.
That is we no longer accept immigrants based on skill or need.
It is based on family ties. This lends us to accept the lowest of the low. Those subsiquently have the worst health and financial situations.

Further more. I don't accept the theory that we can't do anything about the illigals in this country.
It has been proven that if we just enforce the laws the illigals will go home. Every time ICE raided a company and took the illigals out, legal US citizens filled those jobs within days.

We have the means to enforce the laws. It is called the SAVE act and E-verify. They work. Just ask anyone in Arizona.

The United States is the most open when it comes to immigration. We import more immigrants than ANY country in the world. We import over 1.4 MILLION legally a year.

We did this back in 1986. Go back, do the research.
What they are promissing now is the EXACT same thing they promised then. We got amnesty all right. They said it was "only" 1 million. Turned out to be 3 million and those 3 million brought in another 15 million for a total of 18 million. Take those same numbers.
They tell us now it is "only" 12 million. By the same math, that would make it closer to 36 million. Those 36 million will bring in over 180 million. That is the problem with the liberal view.

They see it as an immigrant problem, we see it as a legal problem.

The day they grant amnesty is the day the US government is no more.

Actually yes.
Congress or the house can overturn an executive order. It takes a 2/3 majority.
This will never happen. However, it doesn't have to.
Call everyone.
Call the dems and the republicans.
WHY?
If the dems get enough calls they will get worried about getting re-elected. They will scream to the higher ups in the dem party. They can put pressure on Obama to lift the order.

If the republicans get enough calls it will embolden them to make it a major issue. something along the lines of "See, those dems don't care about you or your family. They only care about the illigals taking your jobs, vote for us and we will take care of you and enforce the laws". It's called politics.
Make the phone calls.
Call the radio talk shows, they were a major avenue to get the info out that defeated the last amnesty deal.

The average republican politicians wanted to use illigal immigration bigtime in the last election but the leadership wanted to push McCain. He was all for amnesty and didn't want to alienate the latino vote. It was the ONLY club the republicans had to use and they didn't. We need to change that.

All you need is a green card and a job. You can sponcer another family member to come in. It is a touchy feel good law passed by morons in washington. It was designed to unify families. It of cource has been extrmemly abused.

Do you live in an area with a lot of mexicans? THEY DON"T BLEND IN. They refuse to speak the laguage, they demand we follow their customs. I know, I live with it every day. They even tried to turn the local school into a spanish speaking only school.

And then stay, and get citizenship ahead of all of the people who filled out the proper paperwork, and waited in line, and went through the background checks, and paid the fees, and gave thier fingerprints, and found a job under H1B or some other work program. Chain migration's real name is the family reunification act. It allows ANY green card holding immigrant to bring in any blood relative. ANY BLOOD RELATIVE.
THEY CAN SPONCER THEM THRU BLOOD TIES. If Obama gets his way anyone brought in under the reunification act won't count against the immigration limits. So they can bring in any number they can support.

Why would you report them?
Why would you report a car theif.
Why would you report a robber.
Why would you report a burgler.

All of the above wish to better themselves are the cost of someone else also.
Why bother having laws when peolpe such as yourself don't have the backbone to enforce it.

Simple, and this is the fact everyone better get used too.
The major reason libs are pushing for amnesty and chain migration is simple.
90% of the people granted amnesty under the last deal voted and still vote democrat.

If they can get the current load and their families in and voting, they figure they can get and control washington for generations.
If you listen to the talking heads they have been talking about this very thing for months.

Think it's a fantasy, think again.

According to Fox and CNN it is a blanket order covering the entire country.
It is kind of hard to find a hard copy right now. The media and the politicians are using the AIG mess to bury a lot of stuff.

What the order does is stop any and all work place enforcement.
It leaves in place border security and according to the talking heads ICE is to switch to finding, detaining and deporting what they call criminal aliens. I guess being an illigal alien isn't a crime anymore.

The funny (in an ironic way) thing is, most of the time when ICE raids the home of one of the "criminal aliens" they find illigal aliens living there also. As per the new directive, ICE is forbidden from taking the illigal aliens, they can only take the "criminal aliens".

Within a month you will see a HUGE surge of illigals coming into the US.

They arn't stupid. They know amnesty is coming and they want in.
Stand by for the invasion to seriously take off.

I have educated myself. I tried to sponsor someone. I know first hand. I did not read it off a website like you.
As for Obama, really? Have you not read any of my other posts on this site. Did you not look at my avatar? Holy smoke's Ollie, look around you before you spout of sh!t like that.
The problem with this country, is there is only right and left. If you do not fit into one of them groups with all of there beliefs, that side believes you to be the other side. You need to get a backbone and stand on your own two feet. Have you own beliefs, not those of one politcal party.
