Orange 05 M7 stolen from my truck at my home in Castlegar

anyways, if he sells it in BC you are probably screwed. Because you don't have registration laws, the cops never spot check.

Sleds have been mandatory registration for a number of years, quads aren't mandatory and in fact they won't even register them. They're trying to change that now though. I have been asked in a few road checks for the regi on my sleds, don't mind one bit, it could be my sled stolen next.

And Snow&mud, where's Jap mtn? Never heard of that near Salmo. Wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy and his crew were behind your stuff. Not long after he left Montrose and went to Salmo stuff started going missing. I heard that a cops own personal vehicle got broken into.

I have a good idea who probably jacked the mtn bikes. I dont know for sure if that local individual is actually tied into the other group of guys on the list, but i would not doubt it. Snow&mud, Irwin boys? I should know you i would assume. Kev, jap mtn is the main mountain that salmo is built around, if you go to the info booth and look up, thats Jap.

Yeah man, i know. Fruitvale and the valley are real good places to have eyes and ears, appreciate that. Are you out in Fairview chad? Assumed it was maybe your place with the XP/Sonoma. But naw man, nothing has changed on the status yet. Just alot of guys on the lookout...bout all a guy can ask for right now.

Hey dude!

I live behind DQ in the gar. My buddy (Guy with the big red/grey dodge diesel) Lives close to you so thats how i know where U @.

I am from the valley though and have family and friends out there so I will let people know. My other buddy is a ambulance dude and fire fighter for fruitvale so I will tell him to keep his eyes open.

Just one other thing...... Let spoon know from C&E auto from South Slocan. He may get something there too.

Just a thought.

Chaz

Thanks Chad, ive been meaning to talk to Spooner, although im sure some friends of mine had mentioned it so far. I was wondering if you were in fairview because i saw a xp on a trailer just asking to be ripped off. I know the dude in the red/grey chev and his brother in the black dodge, name slips my mind right now, but they are real good guys. Thanks again.

Coxy, its not one of the Irwin boys good guess, its Kyle Lang... maybe you remember me. You should pm me with what you think happened, o yea and who is this Jeremy guy? or just post it here and make it public... doesnt bother me puttin a bad name on bad people.

for the record Jap mtn. is more of a dune than a mtn. So dont come to Salmo and expect to ride Jap haha

Lucky

I guess I have been really lucky with all our trips to Revy and Hazelton. I feel for you guys and will keep an eye out in Montana, just in case. With fuel so high and a crank gone bad on the first ride for the hubby, I don't think we will be north this season. Maybe this summer or next Xmas to Hazelton. Who knows though, I may just have to reinstate my annual birthday ride in Revy again.

The guy with the XP in Fairview - name is Aaron. My parents live up the hill from him. That sled is secured pretty good, I'd be suprised if someone is able to drive away with it.

Don't put anything passed these guys. They have cordless grinders with zipcut blades and aren't afraid to use them. A little noise doesn't seem to deter them.

Lock it up out of sight and alarmed. That's about all you can do, and insure it.

Is it just me, or does it seems that Canada has a very HUGE problem with theives? Over the years, I've heard of problems in Squamish, Revy, Whistler, Salmo and many other areas......Dunno about U, but it's enough to keep me south of the border........I feel for the victims in BC, but I'm not eager to come ride and go home with an empty trailer???????

i cant beleive nobody is setting up stings to catch these fuggers. It is crazy the amount of stuff that these guy are stealing in canada.I hope you find your sled.

I think part of it may be because down south you are allowed to pack a sidearm. Up here all my guns have to be locked up tight at all times and you're only allowed to shoot them at the shooting range. Kind of like Australia when they put on the semi-auto regulations, their crime rate rocketed out of site because the thieves knew the only ones with guns were them!

Most of the crimes around here are a crime of oppurtunity. The drive around until they spot an easy take. And yes I'd be all over doing a sting if the justice system wasn't backwards. If I'm caught beating a thief for stealing my ride, I would be the one in jail. And while I'm there you can guarantee that thief would be back stealing my stuff.

Still on the hunt. Meeting up with the fellah who got his quad stollen on the same night, tomorrow. Just got back from driving around, looking. Man ive put so many miles on the car and some on the truck backroading just looking, trying to find any sign, and following up on the odd false lead. Ah well, if i dont get it back, cant say i didnt end off my riding career without a fight. Thanks guys, appreciate it once again.

ttt- keep looking, I had a 4wheeler stolen from my back yard when my 6'8" "little" bro was visiting; we found the #@@*@*"s about five hours later and made them aware of their sins:cool:
These were amatures and were out joyriding(without a mufler...) at 1am, so they were easy to find:D

Like I said - its probably hiding in someone's garage for a month or so til they get really desperate to fuel their drug habit and then they will sell it. You will be driving down the road and see it heading the other way on the back of someone's truck one day - then all you gotta do is catch up to him and ask him where he got it. Or your friends will run into some hippies backcountry boarding one day and using your sled to haul their buddies up the hill.

Hope you find it. I know lots of people in the area, I'll put some feelers out for you too.

Thanks guys. If its not in the area, it'll be in the kelowna or Calgary area, or so the story goes with this type of thing. Im hopefull that it may still be around here, but who knows. If it is, i will find it, or find out who...one way or another

never gets old, i hope you find your sled and kick the sheat out of them then thake them on a long snowmobile trip in deep back country :)
