oil pump adjustment

Don't have a manual and was wondering what would be a starting point to make sure my oil pump is adjusted right? Any info would be apreciated. Thanks.

Theres a mark next to the lever and another mark behind it on the oil pump. if theyre aligned when the throttle is closed it should be adjusted to stock calibration

It is best on the edge to align the marks at full throttle and disregard the idle marks. these sleds tent to over oil any way. :face-icon-small-coo

FUEL-OIL RATIO

Don't have a manual and was wondering what would be a starting point to make sure my oil pump is adjusted right? Any info would be apreciated. Thanks.

Use the alignment marks as a starting point.

55:1-60:1 approx 22 ounces of oil per 10 gallons of fuel is where you want to be at.

My 2002 EDGE-X 800 ran 6400+ miles with that amount, and still runnin', NO crank issues

I can see the idle oil pump marking but where is it suppose to be at WOT?

They usually have a second mark there (for W.O.T.) which yours apparently doesn't.
????

I would use the "idle" mark, then monitor the oil usage ( fuel / oil ratio) and adjust accordingly.
