I put on about 60miles yesterday evening and the 900 reed patch works as good as stock, I really can't tell any difference at all. Funny.

Thanks!
The answer to that is very simple lol...... It's not a Contour. I'm shooting with a Motorsports Hero Wide

Awesome vid, I really like the resolution and viewing angle of that camera!

And I definitely like it mounted on the top of the helmet as opposed to on the side... I dont feel like I'm trying to hang on to the side of your helmet, haha:beer;

Oh ya, the riding was sweet;):D:beer;

Somtimes its fun!

YEP...seen a few in my day over there...NASTY looking rigs...but it takes some HUGE BALLZ to do what they do...all i do it chase fires and pose in calenders, lol...

thought i would post up some pics of my recent working...

was bored so i got some Orange powder coat and did some parts on my 07 KTM 450 sx-f...came out awesome....i won some new side panles on ebay from an 09 KTM, with some better decals and some frame protectors..will post them when i get them in 2 weeks..

i did it all in my garage...and everything in there is coated in orange powder now,lol..

did the orange parts of coarse...and then the engine cases in black..

i am REALLY thinking about doing the spokes ORANGE, with BLACK spoke nipples and the hubs in BLACK, but the dealer wants $120 a rim to relace and true them...but that would look SICK!!!

here are some with the plastic on...not all the parts were done at this point, but looks pretty cool...love the exhuast ;)

Take a stab at it yourself Sean, I re-laced and trued my rear wheel last year. With a little time and patience I had her back together and running the next day. Your bike looks great. I just don't get the 4-stroke thing lol

really??

i just dont see how you could get the hub centered without a tru-ing stand...never seen it done..so maybe easier then i think???

i was a 2 stroker for life too man...then rode the 06 kx450f when it first came out and hit the MX track...HOLY CHIT...i was hooked from then on...if you havent ridden a 4 stroke ona track...try it and tell me your not convinced... ;)

Well first off... I don't ride mx tracks. I ride mountain trails, single track, and trips to the sand. The only form of racing I have experience in on bikes is single track hare scrambles.
For what I do...I don't like the aggressive engine braking, the low rpm compression stalls, and the overall maint. expense of 4 strokes. Without the AMA's double displacement handicap the "better performing" 4 strokes would not have a chance against smokers. I am indeed a dedicated 2T guy.

well said my friend...

if i can get my hands on another kx500 like i used to have, i sm on it...NOTHING could touch that thing when i was climbing hills at the sand dunes...it was a BEAST...

but, to each his own...as long as its a 450 ;) jk

To center and true my wheel I mounted the wheel with axle in place to a pair of small jack stands with c-clamps. A cheap magnetic dial gauge helped with precision, but really 99.5% of this can be judged by eye.
20 minutes of googling rewarded me with a few great links on lacing and truing wheels at home without the expensive shop tools.I can probably dig them up if you would like some reading.

Is that thing for setting off mines or something?? crazy.

Yep, the two sets of wheels are on a zero axis and for mines and tripwires. Lots of electronic IED countermeasures mounted on it as well. This is when it was short, now it sits about 15 feet further out.

I am in charge of the lead truck, navigating and such. Generally the most frequently "blow'd-up" truck but I've been lucky so far!

I hope they pay you well to do that my 900 friend!
I shouldn't talk... I was almost killed in an underground coal mine roof collapse:face-icon-small-dis

I wish they did man, but thats just not how it is. I signed the contract though so stuck I am, the unit I was called back to support is going home the end of the month and I have to stay. Talk about crap end of the deal there, me and guys like me get to pull their deployment for them.
