Obamacare

but when the number of poor goes from 25% to 40% that's more of a problem.

F__k 'em!
Most of the poor are poor because they not motivated to become anything.

Our society has become one that fosters laziness.
"Let's take care of the poor"
Well hell, if they will take care of me if I'm poor...why in hell should I bust my azz?

Our papers are full of help wanted ads.

Reminds me of working construction in WA, winter hits and you stop. I was collecting $2200 a month from the unimprovement department and they wanted me to take the first job I could find. Even if it meant less money, needless to say I put in a job app or talked to every business in 50 miles that wasn't hiring unless it paid more. I helped a friend trim houses for no pay, learned how to trim and he covered all expenses when we went sledding. I also helped other people or whatever to stay busy. I'm not a big fan of doing it that way but it was there and I did. I can tell you that is one F'd up GOV system just like everything else they do.

What did oboma do, extended it.
Why? more control

heres a little fact for you.
Do you know that at vet hospitals know they are asking them if they own a gun and where they keep it.

slight correction for clarification... maybe that is a little Dave Ramsey coming through... lol

You can try and clarify all you want but there is no correction. Simple truth, If they made better decisions they would not be poor. fact

Here is clarification, starting at the root

Poor is a state of mind,
there was a guy living in alaska, and he made a choice which put him living in a tent for two weeks.

is he broke or what

No, he is a billionaire on a fishing trip and he had a blast having to live in a tent.

The difference is the "poor" think they are victims because they are told that, so they believe it, and stay poor. The broke kid that believes in more than being poor is the guy telling the rags to riches story now. "mental health" But the poor still think, and tell them selves he got lucky, someone helped etc.................... again there belief is they can't. So they decided to be poor. See where decisions get you. One rich, one poor the only difference, the decision to believe. (and a little hard work)

you may not catch that either but I'm having fun with it anyway.

The victim mentality only goes so far... there are a lot of people that work hard, try hard, but just haven't been brought up to know how to do the right thing with their finances.

Listed to the Dave Ramsey show a little and you will see. There are many poor people that are that way

Probably should just ignore this response... it is all in the mind.. think it and it will come true.... lol

Yes and no. People can be poor in more ways then one that carry over into this problem. This problem is not all about money. It is about how we live our lives day to day.

Do you know how many vets are pieces of crap and beat their wives and children?

That is all great, but we were talking about poor people financially.. though I guess it doesn't matter anymore.. lol

Get educated, I don't even know where to start. If you think state or GOV involvement is minor. You are in for a surprise. As far as people being able to stay with a provider, that is a ploy, once they get control they will run them out of business in very short order, that has already been established with facts to back it up. Then they will control it all and will control us.
Is this where we put the tin foil hats on?? As to where to start, I would start with something besides, if people were better and made better choices all of our problems would go away..

That is all you have stated, repeatedly.. Along with examples that have nothing to do with health care at all except show that in unrelated issues people making better decisions better themselves.. lol. Thanks for pointing that one out.. repeatedly..

So is anyone actually interested in talking about the health care system anymore, or should we continue arguing about what type of poor people we are talking about and how if people were just better we wouldn't have any problems... :face-icon-small-sho

That is the smartest thing you've posted yet.

I have listened to Dave and Clark Howard, what you see/hear is not what is.

Everyone wants to know how, how to get rich, how to not be poor, how to pay for health care etc.....
They ask because they don't believe, and want to know how, they are thinking after they know how they might be able to believe it. That fails
If you believe it and focus on it, the how present itself.

If you make the decision to fix your financial prob the first thing is believing you can, if you truly believe you can and focus on it in a good way with effort. It will happen fast. But the losers think about it for a minute, a day, maybe two and by then they have found some excuse of why they can't because they "werent raised". Yeah, thats a good one.

Wyo,

Were you the one that mowed down a corn field to build a baseball field? Didn't they make a movie about that...:face-icon-small-ton

That just happened. You just said that and bought one. Amazing! It's all clear now!

No, what the heII would I want one for, I would by a sled manufacturer way before, and I never said when either. lol

Its the think bigger aspect I was referring too. You say cut some corn, If your going off belief, then I am going to go a heII of lot bigger than that.
This is my point you keep going small trying to find a fix to health care, there is no implementable fix.
The problem is most people and there thinking patterns, fix that, you would look back and laugh at health care.

Now I have told you how to fix it, yeah I went big! So big you can't even believe it. So again what you believe is the extent of your capability.

When you can prove that otherwise let me know.

Its been fun, at least something to debate and talk about, BTW Cooke is gonna get some pow, they have already got some. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...877441406&site=byz&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=text

ANY BODY who thinks slumbama care is free or the right thing needs to actually listen to what is said.
EVERY time it is talked about in the news local or national if you LISTEN, NEVER do they say it is free!!! The only thing it is to do is 1, replace social security (earmarks) and 2, take away more freedom.
MORE regulation is on the way. Insurance companies should have to compete for the right to be OUR carrier. This whole entitlement thing Will be the final demise of the united states unless people wake up and realize it is a privilege NOT a right to live and work. Just like it is a privilege to drive a car. If you want to see the future of America look to Greece or the next catastrophe Spain buckle up If this entitlement / collective bargaining crap doesn't stop we're next .. Frickin socialism

just leave healthcare alone and let them charge 1000 a week and cover nothing.that might sting the richys.

what I bolded is completely true. Most people don't want to take a risk and do something bold, but that is honestly what you have to do otherwise you will never succeed. I've never heard of someone whose taken a lot of risks in their life say their sitting at the bottom and are worse off for it. Even if you take a risk and fail you still have probably opened up some doors and met people along the way who can help you.
