o5 edge chassis,98 600 engine

just wondering if anyone has done this i put a 98 600 big block in an 05 edge chassis and used 800 rack carbs a stock 700 pipe and an aftermarket can i had 320 main 40 pilot and seemed to lean so i put 380 main and 45 pilot havent had it out yet to test just putting out some feelers to see what u guys think thanks for any info

380 jets seem plenty rich, i run 320's on a 700.

update

rejetted to 400 mains and 45 pilots clip in # three position and ran in an open field and checked the plugs, perfect brown and very crisp throttle response

i thought i was the only one that did that! how do you like the carbs? i have a set of 04 700 carbs i might just try them. did you try the 600 carbs and then switch? was their a power change? what clutch and weights are you running?

i actually bought the sled with no motor and put the 600 in and the 800 carbs were the only ones i had im gonna take it out this weekend and ride been to busy lately but i am going on saturday snow or shine i let ya know the results id try the 700 carbs but keep an eye on your jetting dont burn it down

little update put probably 20 miles on it today some trial some powder and mountain riding this thing ran awsome kept up with my mountain catt 800 m=no problem checked the plugs twice and nice chocolate brown color gonna take it next weekend for a longer ride by the my wife rode the sled all day and not once did she fall behind right on my but the whole way

what did you do for the oil and fuel pump? on mine im runnin the stock carbs and my jetting is155 mains 40 sec's.
