Nytro mtx or XP

There is a 80% chance that this thread was started just to get the fur flying. Kudos for everyone that got a hook in the lip. A the speed most men type the time wasted responding to this question could have been used to cure cancer or something. Lets get back to what's really important, *****ing about the poor service we got at the fast food drive up.

Filming

FreeRide Films is headed out west on feb 25th for a 2 week trip, We are going to Colorado for 4-5 days and then we are looking for people to meet up with and film anywhere out west.

If you have a performance shop and need some free exposure- we'll come film your shop. Then we can head out into the backcountry and you can show us what your products can do. We would love to meet some mod/turbo guys to film with and promote your products.

E-mail me at tagracer@hotmail.com or give me a ring 320-420-1351 (Tony) Tell me about you or the group you ride with… Hopefully it works out and we can come out and do some filming!!:)

hmmm...has he done much riding? is he an experienced rider? at 80 your experience can go down hill as far as handling and such cause, of the body (duh)

You're still an idiot though. :beer;

There u go again...

I'm still inviting you to go for a little ride with us DOO riders..... But don't expect you to take the challenge. Just remember,,, we are just a bunch of idiots.. Unlike you.... I will admit that a Tpex will kick ars straight up a hill, but the stock XP will kill you every place else.

its funny you two hang in the yammi section all the time & are the first to throw your opinion out there about how bad these sleds are.do either of you two own a yammi, i dont think so.mabey you should stick to what you know & if you cant ride a nytro in the mountain then you are one useless rider.as for the 2 sleds as in life its all about personal preference each of us like diff things so if i was you summit i would go rent or get a demo of each & let your gramps try them both that way he gets the right sled for him.i think the xp are a incredible sled just could not be happy with all the probs for that kind of money i hope they work things out because they have potential.as for the nytro yes its heavy but its a very fun sled,once the skid is dialed in to where it should be its a great all around sled but not a highmarker.:beer;:beer;

between your wife and my sled im quite busy riding :D

He!!, I'll ride with ya but I will not ride the snowies. I tell you what. Come on up to Rabbit Ears with us over Presidents day weekend. I'll be more than glad to show you some new country. I'm quite sure you have never been around a Yamaha because you clearly have a skewed opinion. If all you do is climb, then a ride with us won't be too fun for you. If you like to boondock, then we'll show ya a pretty good time. I'm not a jumper or a climber but I can show
you some decent jumps if thats what you are into.

Come on, lets do it! I'll buy the :beer; after.

Yammer does ride with a Doo boy. And although he's a bigger boondocker than I am, I'm sure that he can hang. I've seen him ride and he handles that Yammie pretty darn good. I'd like to put that Nytro on a hill and see what she can do over Presidents Day. You'll have to let me do that OK, Yammer?

Oh, BTW. I haven't blown a belt apart on the XP yet. The XP clutch gets just as hot as my 05 REV clutch. It is light and fun to ride.

Back to the topic, the guy is 80 years old. He's not going to push either one of these sleds to there full potential. I'd say go with what ever one he gets the best deal on, and then he can take the extra money, and help you out putting a few mods on your sled. Let him pick his favorite color, and go with it. Both these sleds will take him anywhere he wants to go. By the time people are done arguing on this thread, you should be able to go get the 09 600 e-tec. Still be plenty of power for him, and then you get the best of both worlds. JMO!

She's not set-up for climbing PJ. It does not climb well at all. It does enough
to get this fat boondocker around on the smaller stuff. She is set-up well for boondock'n though. It will only pull a 40mph track speed going up.

EDIT: Donavon knows his chit about all sleds, not just Poo. He really woke the Nytro up
with his clutch kit.

Chubbydog the only time he pushes the sled is when we go up to the lakes do do a little racing haha he likes to think hes still the fastest he said he will retire when he gets beat lol
Stlhead this was not started to get a argument going although has been very funny i thought these guys would just find it amusing that a 80 year old is still out riding and having fun
Taking a 146 xp out this weekend now i just need to find someone in the vernon area with a nytro who wants to tag along haha anyone up for a ride park nelson on sunday?

;)And you lie... I don't EVER get personal,, like you do... I have never called names against an individual, or a dealer. I only make comments about the other pos sleds. :beer;

I don't believe YammerHammer was getting personal. He was just re-affirming for all of us, you're an idiot.

I'm a Doo guy, I guess. I've owned two of them and only one Yammy. But I gotta back Yammerhammer on this one(speaking on the kodpkd thingy). He can boondock just as good on that Nytro as I can on my XP. Take him up on the RE offer. You just might need a tow out! Jim's nice enough to even tow you out! Maybe:cool:
