Get going already then dirtstick. Most people that have all the answers are already achieving these dreams. Quit running your flapper and get it done already.
Thought you were already wildly successful with your ponzi scheme business......now you want to be a rough necker? You are funny kid!

bring the Kirby catalogue...just in case things take a couple weeks to get going for ya..
the 30 grand a month you said is possible earning selling the Kirbys will come in kinda handy till you land your dream job as a Wallmart greeter..
oh..you did mention return ticket..so are ya gonna need wheels when you get there..??
ps..your half a million extended family i hope is helpful...but i haven;t known flea;s and crab"s and lice to be that helpful to anyone..unless ya eat them
We hired a guy just like ol snowmo at our company. Been there done that. Knows everything, done everything! The only difference is our guy is 25 which means he has 2 more years of worldly knowledge than ol snowmo. This know it all can't even remember to punch the time clock in the morning. Leaves the headlights on in his service truck and can't figure out why the battery keeps going dead, locks his keys in his truck and isn't smart enough to make another set and carry in his pocket. (took me one time before I made my own set) He leaves town to go to a service call 30 miles out with an 1/8th of a tank of gas with no gas in between and then calls me worried about running out and what should he do. I said drive till your out and then start walking! I've done what I do for 32 years with the same company and he comes in and tries to tell me I am wrong when he calls to ask me how to fix something he cannot fix. Man I hate know it all young people. I have one word of advise for you snowmo. Shut your mouth, open your ears and listen to the ones who actually know what they are talking about. Also you do not want to be driving from Glasgow MT to Williston ND and back everyday. It wouldn't even be fun to drive from Glasgow to Sidney and back everyday for work. There is a reason the apt in Glasgow is 425. No moron from the boom area would rent it, they know better. Do yourself a favor and stay in WA and keep on pushing the Amway and the overpriced Kirby.
ive actually made the decision to get a round drip ticket to North Dakota .
you talk about sleeping in your car..??..
soooooo....if you don;t know how you are getting there..(even though all the arrangements are obviously made by your split personallity) ...unless you bought round trip tickets for you and your car...or truck...how is anyone gonna expect you know what your doing once your there..??
How can anyone help ya in this thread when you are having difficulty telling the truth on your method of travel..
This is just all too funny to me. Ya Williston is the hub for the activity, if you start out on a rig you will still be a couple hours drive to the site. Have fun driving 4-5 hours one way, and Fargo?? LMAO, thats like 4 hours from any oil.
Good luck sleeping in your car, you will never last. A tent? Good luck with that, hahahaha.
Since you are going to be the first person in the area that is young and has a strong work ethic, I am sure any local person will let you right in their home. I mean you and the thousands of other people that have tried this, really good luck. Locals will laugh and look at you as just another oil slick in the area. It's reality, you are nothing special to them and you won't be as a roughneck.
$6 a week? Good luck finding any quick food such as lunch meats, ramen, bread, etc as there is a shortage. On $6 you might get 2 loaves if you can find them.
I am glad you think the winter here is nothing, keep that outlook. Most only survive the summers and then leave for the winter because they can't handle -30 with 40mph winds. But since you know you can camp in this you should be good. Espcially in an RV, around here they coverthem with hay bails for insulation as the weather here goes right through them. Oh, and yes over $1k a month to park it with no utilities, and thats if you own the camper.
BTW, most won't hire unless you have a permanent address. Think about that.
So if i land a job that provides housing, id imagin transportation might be an option? if not i better be able to get myself tothe sites then wont i? Whether its at the oil fields or somewhere else. if i can bare the temps then great. if 100% of my effort allows me to withstand it, then great. if i dont make it, guess what? its not the end of the road because i still have income.
if all that comes out if it is a short lived journey then awesome i tried something new and got to see a different part of the world with a different lifestyle.
but with a job that provides housing while im over there, i dit see why i shouldnt give it a shot. if i give it my all i always do well. its called drive and ambition.
I'm not trying to pick a fight with you but man you talk alot for being such a hard worker and so busy. I think you should just go and prove us wrong and put an end to this thread!!!!

i have my own part of the travel company. i make my own hours, i choose the amount of time that i work. i can make sales on my computer, or i can make sales out beatin the pavement knocking on doors. i can make sales while im at the gym, i can make sales while im out at the bar.
by expanding my horizons, i will come across more opportunities for advancement with the trades, and i will be able to expand my business network from a couple hundred to 10's of thousands. thats what it takes to be making $40k a month. i do what it takes.
the only way to get chit done is to do what it takes.
and perhaps, fellow snowesters should take the energy they're taking to slow down my motivation, and be negative in response to everything i mention, turn it into something positive, then we can all be happy, because i wont have to respond in such the ways i respond.
