They changed the date to start the season to the 15th of November and left the 12 inches. Some other minor wording changes also. See the link to read the new rules.

Still no riding after June 1st off trail or route.

It's a start and all of those who were planning on the Thanksgiving weekend you can now ride off trail as long as there is sufficient snow.

This is still a big loss for anyone who rides in the spring. The way it's worded you won't be able to ride anywhere around the peaks after May 30th which is about the only place there is good enough snow that time of year. Road 103 (N trail) is closed until July 1 and so is the Libby Flats(T trail). No off trail and no open roads near the peaks means no snowmobiling after May 30th!
