Ok, How much to buy basic package and 5 sport games? How much in the US and Canada? And where to get one? What are these things going for? Looking for one for the girlfriends parents, want a new in box (sealed)....Target? Walmart?
ToysRUs... took my then 6 yr old, ( he wanted it, so he had to come) to wait in February, at 6 AM outside a ToysRUs, for a card that would enable us to purchase one Wii.
Just got guitar hero for it, and it is fun.
But, to answer question, I think we paid about $400 with the wii sports, 2 full controllers, and zelda...

I bought one last year from Circuit City.com. One of my vendors gave me a $100 gift card so I used it to buy the Wii for my kids. I checked their website every day for about a week and a half until they had some in.
Yep 250 in the US, kinda hard to find right now though. The lady bought one (knowing that i was going to pay for it) and by the time it was all said and done, I have spent 425 and only have the two cheesy games and tiger woods 08.
i actually found one at kmart where i live target walmart and game stop were sold out
i got the wii sports combo deal so for 250 i got the sports game and the wii
also bought something called wii play its got some chincy games with it but it came with a controller. so for 50 bucks got a couple extra games and a controller vs 40 for just the controller
Ok, got a game, now what are the games to have? Racing games? Accessories? Which charger and batteries are good? Steering wheel? Paddles etc? Help, I know nothing.....
