And there is the problem.
The Arabs don't recognize Isreal as anything more than an invader of THEIR holy land.
If Isreal is to survive, they need to seriously kick the chit outta the terrorists (which would be most of the middle east).
israel may be a small country, but they are badasses....where do you think we got our tank technology and who do you think trained our pilots!

Actually, they don't train our pilots. We do joint exercises with them but they don't train our pilots, and we sell them a lot of their military equipment.
They are some of the best pilots in the world because they constantly train. They have more flight time than any military in the world.
Their people have to do military service.
That means that anyone over the age of (I believe it is) 18 is fully military trained. So if Isreal is invaded the invader has to fight the entire country, not just the military. If the arabs were to invade they would have to literally kill every single person in the country. That is one of the reasons the arabs do a lot of talking, but they learned their lesson about invading.
i am not arguing with you....i coulda swore that when i was active duty...i heard more than once that pilot trainee curriculums come from mother Isreal.....But what do I know, I was just a grunt that rode around in the turret of an LAV

Not kidding at all. Just the thought of a microwave with the door open almost always settles the stupidity of people down. Even the ones that claim to be doing it in the name of allah. Im all for religion whatever it may be but when U start to drag alot of innocent people in by force and the name of God or Allah, yer starting to Fu@$%ck around just a little too much!! To me its like the arse at work that always calls in sick every Saturday saying " I need to take care of my kids". And You know damn well he was out partying all night. Which is one of the reasons we have set up shop in Iraq. Saudi Arabia says they are our friends but I doubt it, Iraq borders Jordan and Syria , so we can keep an eye on them, but it essentially cuts off (by land) AuqaVelvaJad in Iran from Isreal. I read today Isreal was targeting tunnels from Egypt to Gaza, which was how they were getting better rockets.
My office mate (former F-8 Pilot) says a good size construction crew could make a nice beach out of gaza in a week. Sound like that could be nice.
The next few months will be interesting to see how Osama Obama flip flops when he gets the intelligence the current administration has. It's easy to armchair President when you don't know what could be at stake. I have relatives and coworkers in counter-intelligence who say, you don't want to know what they know, and I don't.

Yep, you are correct. However, they were used for training for joint maneuvers and to assist our pilots so we would know their tactics. That would assist us if we ever had to fulfill our part of the military treaty we have with them.
Also, the Isrealies would supply our airforces with tactics learned fighting against other arab air forces and the tactics they use.
We take all that and draw up our own training cources.
They don't write the specs to train our pilots in how to fly or fight, only in how THEY do it. We have a mutual military defence treaty with them.

Back in 86 when I had access to the info, it was well known that Jordan, Iran and Syria had drawn up join military operations to be carried out against Isreal if a war ever started.
The funny part was, Isreal knew all about the plans before they were even finalized. Isreal has an intelligence network that makes ours look laughable.
