I think hamas is about to get their arse handed to them.
I'm afraid this is going to get a whole bunch of countries involved. I'm really sick and tired of those two battling it out and everyone else taking sides. Maybe they should just blow the crap out of each other and then the developers could move in and make a mini mall and starbucks.
good excuse for oil to go up...the big money probably told Israil to stir the pot just to raise oil over stability...its that simple...advantage is being taken cause they think the world is to preoccupied with the economy etc...true...yep its going to bring a whiplash..i don;t know whos a## is going to et kicked...l do know for sure though...we all are going to pay.!!!!

Actually they arn't stupid at all.
Their very existence depends on a war with Isreal.
No war, no Hamas. If you look back at history, there has been a number of times they have brokered a peace deal only to have Hamas come in and destroy it.
This is just the latest chapter. Most of the middle east countries need Isreal to prop themselves up. Isreal is a distraction. Anything that goes wrong the middle east countries blame isreal.
Hamas fired over 300 rockets and motors into Isreal knowing full well Isreal would react. Now I am betting Hamas didn't count on this level of responce, but oh well. It worked. The other middle east countries that were thinking of signing onto a peace deal (I think there were 4 of them) have now backed away from it.
It's only simple for simpletons who do not pay attention to what has gone on. FYI, there was a six month cease fire that was adhered to until hamas decided to start lobbing missles at Israel (300 plus rockets were fired over the border) Now because Israel has better aim and bigger guns they are the bad guys in some fools minds.

I agree with you. Seems to me Hamas is a bunch of sh1t disturbers. Like the lil' kid pokin at the bear like he doesnt know better. Somebody should plug a big microwave in, open the door and press start. Back in 1945 they did that in Hiroshima and the war pretty much ended.
When you have 2 guys (or 2 groups of people) that keep getting into fights only
to have others step in & break it up,
you eventually decide the time has come to stop breaking it up & watch from the
sidelines & see just who IS the man.
I think it's time for the rest of the world to sit it out & see who prevails.

And as usual Hamas is waiting for other middle east countries to threaten/force Isreal to back down, which in turn makes Hamas look like they stood up to the evil Isrealies even thought Hamas is the one that started it.
I would like to see Hamas stand on their own for once, the only problem with that is it will take the backing of the US and the UN to force the other arab countries to sit on the sidelines as well. With Obama coming into power and the Dems all to cowardly to act, Hamas is betting Isreal will have to back down yet again.

As long as that area of the world exists, there will be conflict. Just goes to show what is the cause of more human deaths from war than anything else.......Religion.
hamas must be trying to rewrite history, if they would lift the turban from their eyes, and look who they are messing with they might realize that every time someone screws with israel they get pounded flat. israel is merciless in war, they flat get it done. hamas had to know the reprocussions of their actions. apparently allah is only gonna save their chosen ones and sacrifce the others.
guys that think this is just religous or oil related...........imagine if canada came in and wanted to take seattle and montana. we would argue about seattle but allow them to take it, but montana is our holy ground and would fight for it........prety much same story exceptthe country of israel would fit inside the fence of some of the bigger ranches in our country.
big bombs and small targets means huge devastation.
israel does not give a rip what the world thinks. poeple shoot at them they shoot back. with bigger guns and more bullets. if the us was more like that we would not have 10 year wars.

That part of the world has been in a constant pissing match for just a few thousand years.
Israel is the country who is different. Adapted some western ways, not Islamic ect. So the others call holy war or just try and pick on them. Like others said above, it is like poking a hornets nest. You will get stung. Egypt tried bullying them in the late 60's, they got their butt's whooped.
Sadly, if they were not fighting Israel, they would be fighting one another. Look at Iran/Iraq war in the 80's. Or how about Pakistan and India...

Not entirely true.
Isreal counts on a lot of western countries for food, building supplies, medical supplies, etc. . They are a small country and can't produce everything they need. If the UN were to impose santions against Isreal, it would hurt and hurt bad.
The problem is, during Obama's (he who walks on water) purchase of the white house run, he openly stated that he thought Isreal should back down and give back everything they got during the last war. He further stated that the US support of Isreal has led to a much longer and deadlier war.
Loosely translated.
Isreal is on their own.
That is one of the reasons Isreal is pushing so hard and fast now, before the muslim saviour comes to power.

Silly fool, Repeating that israel is the agressor and insinuating that they are at fault just to increase the price of oil does not make it so.
Your silly statement about israel crucifying Christ is a red herring and has nothing to do with the issues at hand. You sound like a dumbarse palestinian that is so busy looking back that they will never be able to see their way forward.
I would use the analogy of the "eviromentalists" believe that seattle is their homeland and they take it over....the local population fights, but loses, the environmentlists continue to expand because they need the territory for all the immigration of other environmentalists....meanwhile the homegrown spokanites, idahoans and montanans say bs and fight back, although less financially able to afford appropriate weapons.....
