New vid of Burandt

I'd be interested to hear the reasoning behind everything going on the sled.

At the SLC show he simply said he's "not a backpack guy" but then proceeded to mention all the stuff he packs with him (2 saws, water, space blanket, tools, food, several pairs of gloves, goggles...).

Chris Burant is changing how people are looking at mountain riding he is a incredible rider for sure.

...and a hot pocket.

heck,i thought everybody rode like that.
buy my gas and get free lessons:)

Chris is an Amazing Rider for sure. But the Truth is there are alot of people that never get noticed and can hang it out just the same. His ability is top notch, his sled is spot on and disposable and the snow was super setup but just soft enuf to be able to side hill like one wants. These sled are designed to do just what you see him doing. The rider just has to have the skills and the nerve to go up or to the side when it seems sketchy. Back to the Vid, it was GREAT!!! Really got me want'in some Snow! Thanks for the Post. JOP

His transition from any slope to another angled slope is amazing. I have never seen someone sidehill going downhill so well. Nice Vid!

Freaking amazing. Watching that, the house could be on fire and I wouldn't notice. :beer;

Just awesome its like watching james stewart on an mx bike the things he is doing will become the norm in a few years. When I watch him all I can say is my sled would never do that.

Let it snow!

You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the comments. It's so neat to see the sheer number of people who share the passion of this type of riding. I really see no end either. There is always a line that I pass up because it looks a little too hairy. But I know I will be back to hit it one day. Keep pushing that comfort zone and keep er pinned! Hope to see some of you on an adventure with me one day!! www.burandtsbackcountryadventure.com

Chris,
Props on being such an awesome guy, I hope one day to ride with you I might have to lose 20- 30 lbs and buy a better sled but one day. Thanks for giving me something to shoot for as far as my riding.

while we are critiquing, why do we never see him with a pack and shovel on? Does he just not wear/carry them or are they taken off for video segments so as to not cover up sponsors?

Just browsin his website he is wearing a pack in some of the clips in his boondockin video on the web site.

yeah just watched again, with sound this time... definately could have gotten some better music

but even terrible music can't cover up his amazing talent! one day, one day i might be able to ride like that

Awesome riding!
Next time I am on the edge I will be a bit more inspired to go for it and know it is possible.
Still probably be pullin out the shovel though
