Man, he has to have the force or something. He sidehills stuff he shouldn't be able to, and climbs out of stuff that the rest of us would just trench.

man, imagine if you had practically unlimited sleds and turbo at your hands and the ability to ride everyday.. there would be a lot more "burandt" type riders out there if alot more people could suffer the consequences of wrecking your sled in the name of learning and have a brand new sled the next day with a turbo setup.. where do i sign up?
Insane...nice job Chris! Go on one of his tours and you get to see that first-hand....even more unreal in person! (that is if you can get to where he's riding!!) Fourcast should be a great film...nice work!
the man doesn;t ride that machine or terrain...he plays chess with it...he has the moves figured out before hand with a plan a/b or c...amazing

Burandt and Rassmussen are probably the two best mountain riders out there. That was an awesome video. I talked to them both at the salt lake snow show and they are really awesome guys.
He is amazing!
Now that's the stuff I like to see on videos! I rather say, "how did he do that?", than, "WHY did he do that?" when watching a sled video. Watching all the hill climb stuff is a little boring....IMO.

There are a lot of great riders these days, but nobody has better command of a sled than Burandt.
wow
plenty of power and good snow conditions..
but the angles and the climbs with no speed

it would be interesting to listen to his comments while watching the video.

He didn't wear a pack at all when we were there. Everything (food/gloves etc) gets packed on the sled.
He really should carry extra fuel the way he rides. He carries a siphon hose though! LOL
I'd be interested to hear the reasoning behind everything going on the sled.
