New to Colorado Springs, looking for riding near by

Colorado Springs has a couple of paid locations to ride a motorcycle. Ram off road park and dragon man. As for ssnowmobiling I am not to sure. I just bought my 1st snowmobile Saturday. 1st I need to get it running again. But once I do I am gonna start looking for locations. I live about an hour west of of you so I am closer to the mountains.
An option you could look into is finding some 1 with room on there trailer that you could ride with then split the cost of gas

You not turn on until after the tree?

Wanna see the crash!

Dude, I NEVER have it on when I eat sh*t. It sucks. I had to stop the sled with my feet to keep it from rolling over me. It was a predicament. Know how hard it is to get up out of three feet of snow when you have to keep two feet on a 500lb sled because it's about to steamroll your a$$?

Not sure what you mean. I'm sure the tie rod can be tweaked back more or less straight. That should be pretty easy.
Use hard weld runners instead of runners with carbide, as we discussed earlier. Order from Woody's or whatever brand you like.
Honestly, you need to go put some miles on the sled and get it past the stupid break-in programming, because when I hopped on it to get it up that hill, it felt underpowered as sh*t. I was actually really surprised.
It will wake up a lot once it's through the break-in period and the computer lets it run to full potential.
Also... you're a humongous dude. I weigh a buck sixty and you're like two feet taller than I am. You need every bit of power you can get out of that sled... especially it being a 146.
I kinda feel bad for you big guys riding sleds... haha. My 162 will haul my little a$$ about anywhere. Hell, I can stop on an uphill, then hammer it and it'll float and go. Then again... my life sucks when I get stuck, and you're big enough that you can just about clean and jerk your sled out of a hole.

Yup, plan to straighten the tie rod.

Really the sled needs all the little tweaks to get it better. Clutching, powder wedges or limiter strap adjust for trenching, bars and riser to fit me better, etc. etc.

Like you said, get the darn miles on it.

I don't know what type of riding you plan on doing mostly, but that track is gonna be your worst problem in the deep powder IMO. But... it's more of a crossover sled, so if you want to bang trail and just do some occasional off trail, it will be ok.

Track isn't as bad as your thinking, it's a 154x16x2.5, so in theory it has the same footprint as your 162x15. I researched durometer, and supposedly it's the same as the other Doo mountain sleds.

Anyways it's a work in progress, it won't be the same sled by the end of the season.

Welcome to the Springs, it looks like Cottonwood is finally getting some snow we will be up there on Saturday. Your more than welcome to tag along.
