Well based on what I'm reading here, maybe it's time for me to purchase the can that I have been wanting, rather than the quiet version I have because I thought they were cracking down.

Regardless of what the state, envirotards, feds, whoever do...I would say it is still a basic courtesy and common sense to not put a stupidly loud exhaust on your snowmobile or any other OHV.
