New sled deliveries

It blows my mind how many people don’t realize the supply issues by now and threaten to go to a different brand as if they’re going to have any difference in outcome. Same goes for the resale market on just about everything with all the people talking crap on every sale add because they’re still comparing prices to when they bought 3-4 years ago.

I'm sure it's awesome. Probably the only thing i won't like is the seat. Trail seat and Probably 2 inches too high. I've had 2 alphas and really liked them. I think mountain cat has on the fly shocks which is a little gimmicky too me. I feel the same about the qs3 with lockout. I like to ride not tinker. Oh, i got to climb this hill. I better lock my shock out. I don't think so.

I do think so….sometimes. The lockout works great if you’re in a **** hole in the super deep and can’t climb out on the softer settings. They’ll wheelie right over sometimes on 2 no matter how much you stay on top of them. Lock out the shock and you’ll keep the front end down and the track just chugs. Worked for me many times, but not something I’m switching all day long either. Usually the end of the day when we need to get out and don’t have time to try a bunch of lines. I think CO2.0 is the one that got me to try it the first time. I thought it was a gimmick too until a day we were riding and was struggling to climb a steep hill through the trees. Locked it out and zipped right up.

Mines on the ground in steamboat! Just in time for me to go back to work for seven days! Haha

I too am interested in the Blue version. I have been trying to compare with Cat's offerings. But I have yet to see one in the wild, and I cannot find the specific information I am looking for. The best I can figure is its basically a Hardcore. I can't tell if it has tunnel reinforcements though. Standard with electric start and a couple of grand cheaper. Adapt clutches? Yamaha ski or Alpha ski? Does it have the lockout on rear shock or not? I believe it has the QS3 all the way around. I have had Floats since they became mainstream... 2008, '09? I don't remember. But I am done with them. They have their place, but its no longer under my sled. A good comparison by someone who has had and ridden both would be great... TERRY-still-without-turbo, looking at you.

Country Cat just posted on FB that ZR 6000s will be on the production line for the next few weeks. Being built without gauges.

Yeah would one of you more knowledgeable guys do a real comparison between the two. Does t make alot of since that just color and seat would make that difference 2-2200 cheaper does it?

If the Blue one was built in August/September and the green one was built in January there could be a price hike. How much is Cat and how much is the dealer IDK. Enclosed trailer companies are putting a 30-35% increase on prices across the board due to raw material price increases.

To clarify what I was getting at, its not the manufacture or dealers rather the suppliers. I realize there is a shortage but the suppliers don't seem to be in a hurry to correct the problem. They are running with less people less inventory and inflated prices. Lots have an improved bottom line. I am looking at a small part of the big problem but this is what we are seeing .

Well I was just in our dealer prepared to buy a 2022 m8 mountain cat and was told no 2022 deliveries will ne made to them. They had told. E they where receiving 7 sleds this week. So anyway this particular dealer will have none delivered 2022. He also said that artic cat had told them to "prepare themselves " for not being able to snowcheck 2023 I'm april or may or whenever artic cat does their snowcheck. Now this is just 2nd hand information from just one guy at our dealership so it could obviously be wrong and or change. He just was a bit weird and kinda combative when I came in because he thought I was going to be a pissed off snowcheck guy lol. When I was mellow and said I understood and had no deposit he seemed relieved. Must have had a few not so happy customers? A yway grain of salt and oh ****e for this dealer anyways

You know I don't know? He asked me if I wanted to cancel my snowcheck? I should say that there where two hardcores there for awhile for sale. So maybe like the guy said they tried to get them with made up snowchecks lol? All i know is they will no longer receive any more sleds this year. Sucks if a guy just won't get anything at all ? Have to see but it seems bad
