NEW clutch availability

Pushing my 17MC in tight trees I was grinding the fat old bodywork in the clutch too often last year. I will be interested in putting the slim clutch on if it continues to happen with my new bodywork. would help with that big weight difference too- clutch side vs. Ti Can side.
New body work is awesome, lighter and tighter. Went with the kit from BDX, added the “Protect-air” in case I punch a hole in a screen (tree basher).

Seen a couple. We 2022’s get delivered to dealers in the last week thst havevthe new clutch. So they do exist.

I see the new clutch is available on CC parts website. Considerably cheaper than the team it is replacing.

Looks like they will be selling individual maintenance parts by the breakdown too! Don't look to be available yet, but that's promising at least.

I don't know what the individual maintenance parts will be good for, according to you these new clutches are no better than the grenades they are replacing.

Well I'm trying to be optimistic. Hoping my concerns are unfounded and these things will last thousands of miles! The info I got in no way confirms there will be grenade issues. I'm just a big fan of thorough testing. Only time will tell.

Heard some disheartening information yesterday about these. Might not be any better than the current grenade thanks to Team. Time will tell I guess, but base on what I heard I won't be running out to buy one just yet.
This statement does not sound to optimistic to me. I don't mind this type of information as long as it is true and you are willing to back it up with the facts . We all want the inside track but not at the cost of; in my opinion, I heard, or I think. What you said earlier was fine until you wouldn't back it up when asked. That is when the BS meter hit the red. To me you have little to no credibility There is an old saying those that know don't say and those that say don't know.

That's fair, I'll go ahead and keep this info to myself in the future. What's being delivered might not match what was tested on the castings. Just keep an eye on things until they have proven themselves.

Primary Clutch Part# 0746-933 $982.95 Can. Available to order
Secondary Clutch Part# 0726-432 $N/A. Not Available yet

The Primary is uncalibrated well need spring and weights. Looks like the 154" comes with 62g (1646-114) and the 165" has 66g (1646-116). The primary spring is the same 85/225 LB (1646-009)

spring comes in the uncal for 0746-933. You do need hardware though for the cam arm pin, and the thrust plates. A spacer for under the clutch bolt is needed as well to bolt up.

154 and 165 should not have a different flyweight.

62g should be standard/stock. 66g is a low elevation Cal.

Went to place a mock order from Country Cat and clutch is on indefinite backorder and weights are 5-7 days to get. Probably need to wait till production sleds are finished.

I know where about 30 of the new clutches are ;) and if I remember correctly, they are $100 less than the posted prices are above. but said they come uncalibrated- no springs and weights that's how he received them... but he is working on a set of adjustable weights.

I don't see AC name on it? Is it on there some where? Nice looking clutch though. My dealer called me the other day and told me he had clutches available but no weights until December.
