So are you getting guard and clutch? What clutch is it for sure? Most likely Adapt I would guess.Weird- Spoke to dealer today after getting my inspection done, and clutch and guard are 6-10 weeks out from Cat
So you can just put a deflection adjustment screw in it and use it with a non-roller bearing primary? No need to change the secondary. Virtually the same as the team unit.
Yes they are the adapt- I dunno if its the newer style like on the 858 but I can tell ya that guard will come off when I get home....So are you getting guard and clutch? What clutch is it for sure? Most likely Adapt I would guess.
No Parts have been in yet from the dealer doing my recall-as of todayAny new updates and has anyone had the full recall done?
I just wanted to highlight this snippettaint no way that's going on
What you don't like my okie EnglishI just wanted to highlight this snippet
Well what's Cat gonna do when some poor smuck freezes to death in the Backcountry cus he doesn't have a roller cabinet full of tools to change his blown belt ???From what I can see in the install video you won't be able to change a belt without removing the primary clutch with the new guard installed.
What I want to know is, what are you driving that only gets 6mpg? Seriously though, the dealer installed bit sucks. Especially considering how far apart Cat's dealers are now.Well Well- Spoke to the dealer that is 150 miles away from me that is (was) going to to my clutch recall... My guard and parts are in -but no clutch.
Kinda pissed me off as I know they will install the BS shield ( No Biggie) but after having my sled and inspecting ( verifying ) my Team for the crack, then they have to order the new primary, and HAS to be dealer installed.
So I cant have them even ship it to me .and 2-4 week turn around on the clutch (maybe)
Yeah I know, seems petty, but being that far away and doing 2 trips this free clutch is gonna cost me about $200.00 in just fuel......So many negativities be easier if a dealer was closer.
I may just bag the idea and keep running my adapt that has been good to me for 2 seasons.....and from the look it does appear removing the primary to install a belt ....But haven't seen one in person
I've been with some poor schmucks that don't even carry spare belts.Well what's Cat gonna do when some poor smuck freezes to death in the Backcountry cus he doesn't have a roller cabinet full of tools to change his blown belt ???
Poor schmuck should be better prepared hahaWell what's Cat gonna do when some poor smuck freezes to death in the Backcountry cus he doesn't have a roller cabinet full of tools to change his blown belt ???
