I asked this question about 3 years ago on this forum and got about the same opinions. I ended up going with HMK and they have been great. They were a little stiff at first but they mold better to your feet and loosen after a few rides. My feet have NEVER been cold. I think most who post that they get wet feet from HMK boot are wearing too thick a sock. I wear the thinnest nylon sock I have and I have always been warm and dry.
FYI: Most of us that get wet feet ride REV's. Also please note that HMK boots are not waterproof, here are the specs strait from their website for the Pro Boa Focus: No mention of being waterproof.

I have a pair of the Pro Boa focus and they leak every time I ride in powder (which is every ride). After last Thursday's ride I was able to dump out the water from my left boot. That was the last time they will be used. I'm going to order a pair of Klim's and give them a try. I will put these in the swap meet after I get a Boa dial fixed (my fault, I hit them on the edge of a running board when sidehilling).
