Need new boots. Klim or HMK?

It's time to retire the Lacrosse Iceman's I bought in 1994. Those babies are still in good shape and keep the feet warm, but they are about 5 lbs each and my foot is all over in them. Not a bad boot for $39 off the Cal Stores sale rack .

What's the boot to get? Klim or HMK?

Which Klim? I have the Klimate, cheap but also wet! I can not get the HMK`s to fit my feet.

The HMK's are HUGE. They look like clown shoes and don't fit running boards worth a crap.

I will be the black sheep here.. Had two pairs of klim boots.. and will never own another pair.. love my klim jacket and pants.. but the boots are junk... both sets leak'd in the first couple trips.. with no help from klim


I'm very hard on boots and the hmk's with the boa... the only way to go IMO

I personally don't own either and just use my snowboard boots which work great and have never had wet or cold feet. However a few of my buddies wear HMK boots and they say they leak and aren't very warm. Better go with KLIM

go with klim. my hmk's leak and not even a year old. called hmk and no one wanted to help me out so screw um. cold wet feet are not fun when your out riding.

Rode the HMK Pro Boa Focus II LE's proto's all last season. 100% best high performance snowmobile riding boots ever. Have owned every variety of Klim since the original radiums for a comparison. Klim is a great product but I like these boots better in the all around. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE 2 WAY PRO BOA LACE SYSTEM. When I am going wading I wear waders...when I am going riding I wear HMK!

I'd go with HMK I'm on my 3rd season and they have yet to leak they fit great and my feet are always warm. So I would have to go with HMK for sure.
