First let me say that this thread is worthless because there are no pictures.

Now for the cool stuff. We went for a ride on the dirt toys today, what a beautiful day. We got into a situation where I asked Tyrel to stay behind and let me check it out first, well he didn't listen very well and we where in a very bad spot. Going down a hill with steps of granite in front of us and no way to turn around. I went first and the pucker factor for me was pushing 12 out of 10. When Tyrel came down he went to the right of where I did because it wasn't as steep. Well I guess it was still too steep because he did a half flip forward with a 1/8 twist landed the atv completely upside down and perpendicular to the hill. He immediately climbed out from under it and started to turn it over. I am calling to him, are you ok, he looks up and starts working on flipping the atv back up right. I could not believe this kids attitude. After getting the atv back up on its feat we went back to the truck on mine and got my wife so she could help get this thing off the hill. Long story shorter, we got it down and he immediately jump into the driver seat on we were off. Took my wife back to the truck and Tyrel and I rode for about 3 hours more. Awesome day and man am I proud of my boy for jumping back on the bull that threw him, or should I say slammed him down. By the way he is 9 and rides a Polaris Express 300, not a small machine for a kid to be on.

Sounds like somebody upstairs likes you. Good to hear you and your son are riding dirt already. You boys better be careful. Don't want to get yourselves into a pickle out there.:face-icon-small-win

Funny... I always worry when we're out about all the what ifs... but... :face-icon-small-con Kids = adrenaline for us and themselves. It's so much fun to watch them out in our world of fun. :face-icon-small-ton Be careful out there and I already know your having fun so I won't say it. :face-icon-small-hap

So I took some carnage pics after we got everything unloaded, can't believe it isn't worse than it is.

Not much to see from this side but you can tell how large the wheeler is.

When it flipped it came down on the rear rack.

Just kinda mushed it down but I think I can fix it without any issues.

Still see the look on his face when that thing started coming over, not sure if it was fear or excitement.

Needs tires. Looks like a little inventive handyman jack work will fix that tweak.

I taught PJ to drive the big boy ATV today. He did really good. Throttle control was pretty dang good. Just did jeep roads though. Time to find him his own, I guess.
